absolutely rubish. expensive but poor nc(unusable where noisy) and poor battery
Easily the worst Samsung product I’ve ever owned – and I own plenty. Noise cancelling failed within the warranty period. The service centre confirmed the issue and replaced the buds. However one month later, the exact same fault occurred — but this time, they refused to repair or even acknowledge the fault exists, saying they are working as… Read more
expected, thus I have zero faith in their ability to diagnose any problems with their products moving forward.
Noise cancelling when I first got them was great, but now is basically non-existent. I can hear people next to me just as clearly with ANC on or off, speaking full volume. It only dulls the background hum, nothing more. I used to have to remove my earbuds to hear train announcements — now I hear them loud and clear with ANC on.
Samsung should be ashamed of releasing a product this flawed — and refusing to stand by it.
These earbuds were great when they worked, had them less than 8 months and used them lightly. The proceeded to break by being unable to charge so I bring them in for warranty replacement which Samsung do and they proceed to have the same issue twice despite me being informed that they were replaced with completely new buds TWICE. I had to drive… Read more
out of my way in total over two and a half hours to return these things over and again. The first time they stole my box and left me just with the loose headset and cradle which proceeded to die after a mere two weeks of barely any use and then again a third time after they came back supposedly being a new set. It was at this point I decided that maybe this design did not suit my lifestyle and asked for a new replacement or refund value as this was given to me as a gift from my ex girlfriend, I literally broke the new product seal. All of a sudden they decide they no longer hold responsibility for them and return them to me not working, well this time I'm saving the fuel, they can go in the bin. My interaction with Samsung was so poor I wrote a long email explaining all of the time I had spend and process to try and remedy the situation and they flat out ignored me. As a huge Samsung user and supporter for over 15 years with about 6 phones and 3 watches this experience has made me decide to switch back to Apple.

Even more amazing BUDS3 PRO is next level – As a retired audio engineer I can tell you these buds are the best ever from Samsung. I've had all the previous generations and yes, these are the best. Best way to describe the sound improvement is "imagine the audio equivalent of your TV going from 1080p to 4K". It's just a whole new experience. Listening to my favorite music - it's like I've… Read more · 2
never heard these songs before, there is just so much more detail. This is probably due to the new buds being 24-bit processing, as opposed to 16-bit. I use my Buds3 Pro with a Samsung Z phone, with Spotify data set to "very high definition". The Buds3 Pro have a tail on their design, making them look a little like Air Pods, but there's no real point comparing the two. I went for the silver Buds3 and they look fantastic. The Buds3 Pro are even easier to use too. They have a pairing button on the case, how good is that? The Buds and case have more LED lights to help you use them and gauge battery status. There is a hidden press switch in the tail, on both sides. It's different, but easy to use with some practice. LOVE the new Volume gestures, just slide your fingertip up/down the tail. Works GREAT. Active noise cancelling is also improved and has some intermediate modes where you can have "ambient noise" coming through, but somewhat attenuated. The amount of active noise cancelling is also better than ever. Using the Buds3 Pro for phone calls is easy enough, and my outgoing voice sounds better than before, but still not as good as using the phone itself. There is a "hi-fi" talk mode but for some reason it won't come up on my phone, might be too old a model phone. Finally, on price - yes $399 is a hefty price but very few will pay that much. I think closer to $300 is a decent price point for these headphones. I have not tried the "real time language translation" but I have heard it works well. If I had to pick one thing, it would be the fact that you have to rotate the buds to put them into their slot in the case - this is a bit of a challenge and can result in dropping the buds. Also, you have to be VERY SURE to seat each bud properly in the case, or they won't charge. If you are aware of this you just have to keep reseating the buds until the light comes on at the case, easy enough once used to it. All up great job Samsung, you got me again.
