What do I do if I forgot my password and can't access my tablet.
I can not access my tab, Guess it is a virus. When put pass code I hear the code letters and numbers uttered through voice and can't go beyond that. Please reply through:[removed]

There is a 4G version that can you can make phone calls with.

I took my lemon back to Officeworks where I bought it and they gave me a new one without a fuss! It was almost out of warranty - a case of planned obsolescence - but I carried on a bit because it was the second time I had to have it attended to. It's probably about $400 but shop around.

My battery is draining. Eg. 50 percent in 30 mins. Still on warranty so I'll take it back to Harvey Norman, but I would appreciate any info beforehand, so I know what they're talking about. Any ideas?
Hi , thats a bad thing. They might ask what background programs or apps are running , these will use battery power but not that much that quickly. Did you charge the battery fully at the start . I can't think what would do that except a battery that wasn't charging / holding its charge correctly- get a refund and buy another brand. Good luck.
What are the features added in this product recently?
Sorry I can't answer that. I have no further interest in Samsung products. You might bee interested to know the same tablet which my partner bought at the same time ( approx 6 months ago )is now also almost useless. It will randomly not connect with facebook while the other 3 devices in the house have no problem . For the past 3 days it won't connect to internet at all and once again the other 3 devices are fine. I will not touch Samsung electronics ever again and I am about to upgrade my mobile from Samsung to HTC or Iphone. Good luck if do decide on Samsung.
The only good thing about this model compared to my old one is Bluetooth 4, other than that it has less features than my first 10.1. If you want one with all the features you have to buy the galaxy tab pro which is a lot more expensive so make sure you don't get caught out like I did and do your research as to what features you are looking for.
Looking at buying a tablet to take overseas. Mainly to upload photos on to it as well as check the emails & the odd time play Pioneer Trail on facebook. Is there one that will actually let me do that.
You can buy an sd card attachment for the samsung to upload photos from camera. If your game on facebook uses flash it most likely wont work on any tablet. Best bet is to try it on someone elses tablet first. I love my samsung galaxy tablet as you don't need a program like itunes to move your files around.
Why when i attempt to switch on tablet does it say emergency call and i can't get into anything else?

Not much information provided as to type and model of tablet. Can I assume it has mobile phone functionality? If so, ensure SIM/microSIM/NanoSIM is inserted correctly. Most mobile phones/smartphones provide this message if a SIm card is not connected, no carrier detected to enable the mobile phone/smartphone can be used in an emergency to call the 000, 911 etc emergency numbers. It's not rocket science.

My Samsung galaxy tab 10.1 does strange things with emails. At random it deletes all emails in your inbox, as soon as you open the email app, and sometimes it does not sync emails. Only does these things at random, sometimes it works great but then bang, everything's deleted. Tried resetting the tablet and downloaded antivirus software but it dint help, still have the problem. Can anyone help?
I'm sorry, I just found this email in my junk box. I have not had this problem, but have had problems such as a lag time when typing using either the on-screen keyboard or the keyboard dock. Was the anti-virus software free or paid, sometimes the free stuff can be dodgy. What email is it, hotmail, outlook, yahoo? I used hotmail and synced it and didn't have a problem, it may be host specific. Do you still have the receipt and warranty? If so, I'd take it in for a service. Also check with Samsung online as you can put in a service claim online with them.
