Is there a flash light in camera in tap 2 ?

There is no flash and the camera is shocking . Don't waste your money. .

There is no flash, but most wouldn't want to use a book to take photos

It comes with Polaris Office free which has Excel compatibility

can i use the applications like microsoft word, excel and powerpoint in the samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1?

I have an application on it called Documents to go by dataviz, it uses doc, ppt, xls,and pdf file types. I've only used it for word documents, and I've emailed it to my desktop and it opens fine. I think it cost me about $3 by memory.

My Tab2 has Polaris Office included which can manage these documents.

I've tried to connect to my TV ( 101 cm HD Vivo) via HTMI cable with genuine Samsung adapter but I've had no joy so far. A mate has the same Samsung tablet and tells me he can connect to a variety of TVs with a usb. Please explain !

Cable is compatible with original tab, not with tab2!

I'm looking at getting a samsung tab as i love my samsung galaxy phone, so my question is am i better of getting it on a plan $71per month for 8gb plus extra if we go over usage or buying out right i setting up a wireless/prepaid???

I think you are better to buy it outright from a discount store (Officeworks?) I only have wi-fi and don't have any problems finding places to use it when I'm out of the house. (I have a wi-fi router on my desk top). It;s very easy to run up huge accounts with a service provider and being an age pensioner I have to watch the spending. I( love the Samsung Tab and will take it overseas with me
