After my Dyson DC44 died, I was looking for another one, but the prices were too high for my budget. I did my research and decided on the Samsung Jet 65. I was sceptical at first because the motor is so quiet on the low setting, but the suction is fantastic. I only have timber and tiled floors and the low setting does my whole house without a problem. It has an attachment for pet hair, which is a must for anyone with animals. I am over 70 and got muscle cramps when holding down the button on my old Dyson, but this one has a very easy on/off button, which is my favourite feature. Needless to say, I love this hand held cleaner and I don’t think there is a better one out there for the low price of $223, which is what I paid.
Follow-up · Since my original review I have noticed that the run time is considerably shorter. I am continuing to monitor this for now. The bin is easy enough to empty but not quite as simple as my very old Dyson. Apart from that I am still very happy with it.

After reading all the negative reviews of this vacuum, I’m left wondering if we are talking about the same one. Honestly, I can’t fault it.
This vacuum is not good. Battery runs out very quickly. Lucky to do one room with it. Batteries are very expensive and the suction on it is not great. I had to buy a $100 vacuum to get my floors clean. Definitely would not consider this vacuum again. It is an extremely expensive dust buster. I returned it to harvey norman as it was not working properly the staff there agreed and sent it off. Samsung returned it and did nothing to it.

I had to return the vacuum after experiencing 6 issues:- - clip fell off that connects main bag. Can’t be fixed. - left black marks on hard floors. - hard to push around and almost impossible on carpet. (Had to pull it to you) - very poor suction/design that meant diet pick up was below average. - battery time was under 10 mins or even shorter at times. - pushes around larger bits of dirt rather than vacuums it

Battery works for under 20 mins, not 40 mins as it clams to be – Sales mentioned the battery supports 40 mins of vacuum. The reality it never get over 20 mins with lowest level of suction. My Airbot which costs $120 was way better with lighter body, better suction and longer battery life. General clean is fair but do not expect much.
