Disappointed with Samsung – Samsung 4k flagship TV QA75Q95TAWXXY suffered from vertical banding out of the box. Samsung would not provide refund nor would they replace the TV. Given the panel issue is only viewable at nite (when there is no daylight glare), I provided all the evidence I possibly can to Samsung. And only after chasing up the retailer, Samsung finally… Read more
offered me a free display panel replacement... I would have have accepted this remedy if it was an older TV but for a brand new TV it is simply not acceptable. Pics attached clearly show vertical and horizontal bars and thats the 2020 flagship 4k model. Extremely disappointed with the panel quality for such an expensive TV. If Samsung really stand behind their products and care for their customers I request them to please provide full refund immediately.
Panel issues - Very disappointed – I purchased this tv after the screen in my Q90R smashed. So, so, so disappointed. The picture is excellent, don't get me wrong. But it is when you start playing games or watching the screen pan left and right in a movie or watching sport that you see the problems. Hundreds of faint vertical lines Dirty Screen Effect (DSE). As well as, when viewed… Read more
on and angle other than straight in front, there are defects in the screen best described as a wavy dark and light pattern - SEE PHOTOS. This isn't a problem front on, but once you sit off to the side, say from 20 - 30 degrees on, it is all you can notice. And seeing as Samsung push the whole WIDE ANGLE viewing technology as a selling point, it is made useless with these screen defects. I tried to return the TV - but due to lack of stock it couldn't be replaced until January. So instead it was repaired. Long story short, it is now on to it's 3RD panel, and each one has suffered the same defects. Total rubbish. As with the previous Q90R version, this tv also lacks support for DTS, and other sound formats and Dolby Vision. I know that Samsung has put little effort into their 4K line up this year, to push their 8K tvs, and it shows. I could live with this issues if the price wasn't at the top end of $5000. I could have paid much less for other brands that can do more, and have no screen issues. I have given 2 stars as it is watchable, the picture is nice and bright, BUT the DSC and other screen issues is not forgivable for the cost.
Love the picture quality and sound – Love the remote control and the one connect can be placed anywhere where you can connect other external devices. Easy to setup and the sound quality is excellent. Bought this TV after reviewing for a few months. Love the Bluetooth and HDMI easy access. Show details · 1
Awesome TV but not quite 5 stars – Recently purchased a 75" Q95t. Awesome big TV, picture quality is excellent as expected. It is not without it's faults however, if I connect my soundbar to any HDMI port, the tv will only output audio in PCM. I have to connect the Bluray player directly to the soundbar to receive Dolby, DTS, DTS-X, ATMOS, etc. The BRP audio output is set to… Read more · 1
bitstream however, the digital pass through doesn't seem to work either. After several calls to Samsung tech support, they too were at a loss to explain the anomaly and couldn't fix the issue. Game mode has issues too, with game mode constantly turning itself on & off and screen going intermittently black. TV only comes with 1 sparesely buttoned 'smart' remote. Works well, but creates a convoluted process to access some features. I ended up buying a genuine full buttoned Samsung remote on eBay for $30. *But my biggest gripe is the ADVERTISING in the smart hub that cannot be turned off! Absolutely infuriating. Had I known this before purchasing, I Absolutely would not have bought a Samsung TV. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy with the TV, but for almost $6,000AUD I expected this TV to be almost perfect and glitch free.
Insert gif of mind blown – It was a bit of a hard sell due to the cost but with the PS5 about to drop and this TV is one of the few with VRR, Freesync 120Hz at 4K and I paired this with the HW-Q950T Soundbar for the 3D sounds and Jesus this thing is amazing!!! The 8K has more then one HDMI port with 120Hz at 4K and this one only has one which sucks but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ at some… Read more · 3
point I might need an HDMI switch but one does not exist for 120Hz at 4K. For now, it is not an issue.
Love, very happy!! I will check back in when I get the PS5!!
Sensational Picture Quality and Design – This my third Samsung TV. From HD to SUHD and now QLED. I have always considered Samsung products as excellent and reliable. All my Samsung TVs are excellent products. Out of the box, the Q95T picture quality is almost perfect in the "Standard" preset but found the "Movie" picture setting to be the best for my taste. I'm sure a lot of movie and… Read more · 2
streaming buffs will agree with me. I have the TV mounted on the wall which is perfect for a 75". It is hooked up to my 9.1 Dolby Atmos set-up in my Yamaha Aventage RX-A3070. This TV has exceeded my expectations and I am glad I made a decision so upgrade this year. There is a lot of new technology built in to this TV. Set up is simple and easy. HDR10+ is excellent. The movie "1917" played on my Panasonic DP-UB820 4K Blu-ray player is truly the best example to experience the new level and innovations of Television Picture Quality that the Q95T brings. The combo of my 75" TV, AVR, and Blu-ray Player is just perfect for my home theatre set-up.
