Press and hold both the fridge and freezer temp buttons for at least 8 seconds, till the display flashes and resets. The full display will light up for 1 or 2 secs, then return to default screen.

Hi Purbita, the recommended space required for this model is 1163 x 1546 mm. This is not the exact dimensions of the fridge but includes the space required to use the fridge doors optimally. Please refer to the diagram via the link below.

Every month I have to pull the fridge part apart to remove the ice that builds up around the fan. It will rattle and if I don't de ice it then it Jams the fan and it will burn out. How do I fix this problem?
We found that keeping the fridge at 5 degrees on the display meant it was at 4 degrees internally and didn't freeze up; while when set at 3 degrees it was actually freezing. Our fridge eventually stopped working altogether so we switched brands. Due to Samsung's warranty people lying to us and others, we have subsequently not bought anything else from them. They lost several aircon, TV, phones, and other appliance deals from us and family over that.
How do I adjust the degrees on the front panel to set it and make it stay set?
The front panel is dodgy as the buttons can occasionally stick down. You press the refrigerator button repeatedly until the temperature you want is displayed (4 deg best), then you can lock the buttons by pressing two simultaineously for about 5 seconds. Not sure which two, possibly fridge & freezer? A little padlock symbol appears. The display then reverts to the actual temperature at the time & the fridge will work towards the temp you set.
