Overall Easy to clean (stainless steel), looks beautiful in the kitchen and I love the handles.

Freezer The thing that I really love about this fridge is its size and how the many different zones allow you to organise your items. As previously mentioned, I really wanted 3 freezer tubs so I could store my veggies, raw meats and processed meats separately. We use the other 4 shelves for breads (including tortillas, crumpets etc.), dessert & smoothie products, frozen meals and frozen sides (hash browns, spring roles, pizzas dim sims etc.) I was pleasantly surprised how much could fit in the freezer! Its also super handy to not have to shift things out of the way and I can quickly see what needs refilling before each grocery run. The indoor storage is also much deeper than I'm used to - we can comfortably store tubs of sorbet and other items if a certain section gets over stocked.

The freezer works really well and the temperature is well regulated (and easy to change if needed). The ice making box can also be removed for extra space, but is incredibly handy in those summer months!

Fridge I absolutely love the door within a door feature! The fridge is also super functional for storage. One thing I have noticed is that sometimes it gets humid in the fridge part? Like condensation forms on some of the products. Also, because the fridge is situated directly next to a wall, it is difficult to remove the shelving for cleaning. In saying that, the glass shelves themselves are super easy to clean and hold any spillage due to the rimmed edges. Apart from those two minor inconveniences, I have no complaints!

Amazing large family fridge – This fridge is amazing temp control large compartments easy storage is an amazing fridge freezer combo the drink door is an added bonus. The freezer is fitted with 3 easy open drawers the fridge has 2 drawers for fresh produce one with added technology to keep fresher for longer. Plenty of space and functional – Pretty much everything you need in a fridge/freezer with plenty of room for meat/dairy, vegetables and frozen food. Almost over a year now and have encountered no issues. Would have been better if there was a water and ice dispenser but I would not complain. Modern, Spacious and with no unnecessary extras – The temperatura control is easy of use and access. There are no extras such as water dispenser, etc, that requires maintenance. The mini-door that gives you access to beverages doesn't look fragile even though I have no intention on using (if it breaks it will jeopardise a whole fridge for a silly extra feature). Great refrigerator – This refrigerator is the best out of them all, we purchased this refrigerator from Hearvy Norman before 3 years and still looking as brand new one. which was less than 2 weeks after the last repair and just days before Christmas 2017, I asked for a replacement fridge. I was told that there was no suitable replacement available but I could have the fridge assessed by a technician to see if it was indeed faulty. So, after having no working fridge for Christmas I had a technician arrive to assess the fridge and take photos of the heavily iced up appliance which at times made excessive noise. Eventually Samsung got back to me and offered a refund which would take approximately a month or they would repair it (AGAIN) and give me a $200 gift card, presumably to rid themselves of further responsibility as the warranty would no longer be valid. After completing the refund forms on 3/1/2018 and having the unit picked up on 8/1/2018, I had to wait until 15/2/2018 to have my money refunded. It took 2 phone calls and an email (unanswered) to secure my money. I would have liked better service on their part, especially in terms of some reimbursement for the food I had to throw out each time the fridge ceased working. The service centre number is answered by staff that are very difficult to understand due to their accents. I would not buy a Samsung fridge again.

Plenty of room – This is a great fridge for a family if 5. The hatch door is great to quickly grab milk or juice although sometimes it's hard to press shut. Lots of room in the fridge and freezer sections. Even comes with an ice box to make perfect small ice cubes. Unfortunately you can't adjust the shelves. Doesn't last, worst customer service ever – Just 1 year and 7 months, the fridge is dead, call customer service, said they going to call me back but never did, have to call again. anything to worry about in my view now. I am relieved, given that first day and my disappointment initially. We are enjoying the fridge and apart from a slight door misalignment, which can be fixed i believe, we are happy. We even use the small door for milk and orange juice nearly every day.

One other thing to note is that it does show up finger prints quite easily.

I did my research, but of course you can't try before you buy. The reviews were decent, and i noted a couple of people have mentioned the noise but you always think it may just be they are overly sensitive or got unlucky perhaps. Anyway, we have just had the unit installed today and i am disappointed in the noise. I understand silence is impossible, but compared to our 15 year old basic electrolux, this thing is noisy. And that doesn't make sense to me that that would be the case. Don't get me wrong, it's not a racket and I have to wear ear muffs, but it's quite noticeable. After spending so much, and for a current model fridge to have this noise, i have been left pretty bummed, particularly after saving up to afford it. :(It has tainted what would otherwise I'm sure be a good fridge.

I read some reviews about the noise - it's really not a big deal, it's just the gas in the fridge, pretty standard, I've never had an issue with it, maybe if you sleep near your fridge (ie. studio apartment) then it might get annoying but otherwise it's not noticeable.

my previous fridge which was half the size. easy enough to clean with the glass shelves. Only small gripes would be that the doors are a bit hard to open at times (I suppose this means it has a good seal), the bottom crisper is a bit clunky and awkward to open, and the egg container takes a bit of getting used to. But all minor compared to what you get for the price and the quality of this fridge

Lack of features but you get what you paid – It has been running for 10 months without troubles. I like the side by side design so I can stack up varieties of both frozen and non-frozen stuff on either side without having to bend down to regularly get just one kind on the bottom drawer in the case of 2/3-door fridges. I almost bought a 4-door, but didn't like the freezer to be limited to the bottom parts. Led light at door showing temperature when you open and close the door is good. Good even temperature in compartments so far that can be adjusted to real lows (1C in fridge, -23c in freezer). interior is alright, and I love the ice trays that you can turn around with the handle to drop the ice on the ice box under it. A minor thing though is that the Samsung label at upper corner only seems like a cheap sticker which got readily wiped off while cleaning and is now gone -- the end of long term visible brand advertising! Hopefully the hardware would be a lot more durable, and that the plastic racks/shelves are tougher than they look. Space inside fridge is good, but freezer racks/shelves would do better with a few more inches of storage space. Big negative is non-adjustable shelves. Overall, so far so good, and hopefully the door stays put a lot longer than my 2 former Westinghouse fridges where the door of the first dropped off after 6years of normal family use and that of the second got looser and looser towards its 4th year--unbelievable but true!

Good Fridget Although Noisy – The fridge is easy to use, very intuitive. The freezer maintains the temperature you set it to and so does the fridge compartment. The access door to drink is really handy especially if you are a fitness freak and drink a lot to stay hydrated. What about the look? -

Very good looking when you see physically - I didn't liked the picture when first I saw this online; I like the metallic finish with black on the door; also the blue LED numbers looks classy when they lit. I went to check side-by-side fridges at Harvey Norman and Good Guys - this fridge catches my eyes every time; finally I bought this from Appliance Online.

What about the size & capacity? -

Regarding the size - this is not too bulky; we found this one got enough capacity (603L) for a family of 2 adults 2 kids (we are four!).

What about the temperature settings? -

Fridge temperature can be set up to 1C low which is very cool feature!

Freezer temperature can be set up to -23C low.

What I don't like? -

So far no technical issue to complain.

The shelves are not adjustable.

Warranty should cover other parts not just the compressor for 10 years (only 2 years standard warranty!).

Any suggestion? -

This fridge might be noisy if not placed on a purely flat surface.

Should I recommend this product? -

Yes of course if you have a tight budget.

kidding! I've never had this much noise from a fridge or freezer, amazing. Problem is you don't get to "test drive" a fridge before you buy, if I had have, I wouldn't have bought this because; 1/ Noisy operation, 2/ High power usage. Having just 2 of us mostly living in the house, solar hot water, led lights, small pool and being keen power savers, our usage is as high as when we had 5 in our old house, no solar, no led lights and a large pool. I'm aware of the constant running of the fridge also, even though we keep to lower cabinet and freezer settings. Would I buy again? No.. However The question remains, What model would be better when you're only working on efficiency and can't roadtest before buying? Mmmm, a problem!
