Big 4K UHD TV investment failed – No stars and will not be a loyal customer anymore. Backlight dim with our family's first big screen 4K TV. As a loyal Samsung customer for decades (fridge, washing machine, tv etc), we are disappointed that our big investment for a 4K TV was a failure. I was hoping it would last years so I paid for wall mounting. Less than 4 years the TV broke… Read more

with left side of the going black and white. Samsung support says the item is past warranty and the best they can do is a 15% discount which is small and laughable. I can go for repair but it will be out of my pocket. Is Samsung building products that won't last after warranty so you can buy a new one? I was a big fan of Samsung but now will go elsewhere.

Worked tremendously well until it died at 14 months – This was our first smart TV and we enjoyed all its functionality, including streaming services and the crisp viewing experience. Regrettably, for an unknown reason, the television died suddenly at about 14 months. It stopped connecting to the internet via ethernet or wi-fi. Samsung, to its credit, diagnosed the problem over the phone and then sent… Read more

a repairer who replaced the power supply component.

It still seems unusual that a TV only goes for 14 months or so before a critical component dies.

Image good. My unit has an added feature, it makes popping sound for free – It seems like a good TV don't get me wrong but the unit I got kept making popping and cracking sound from expansion of the unit when ON and OFF. Bought in March 2020 and am still battling with Samsung to get a refund or a replacement after 4 visit from their techs having replaced the back cover then came back and took the TV for a week then replaced the whole LCD panel. Show details

Better than we expected – We are very happy with our new Samsung TV. It has capabilities we were not aware of. We can surf the internet using the TV, have all the latest apps, and I have a remote keyboard and mouse that connects to it. Great surround sound. One would think these new TV's would be very hard to work out but it has been an easy process. It comes with a universal remote that also works with our existing Xbox 1 and DVD player. Show details
