Just reading all the comments on the sard spray trigger. It has changed and it did on Vanish spray as well. No option now to use spot spray and turn nozzle for wide spray. Well they have done this as you will use a lot more spray over a wider area just using this useless jet spray. I am going through more spray which is exactly what they want you… Read more

to do. Then you have to buy more and more often. Money grab. Suggest go to Bunnings and buy a spray bottle. Tip contents into spray bottle and use it as a spray. These companies should be investigated.

Why on earth would you change the nozzle when it was working perfectly well. I've been using Sard for years and years, but not anymore. After trying to persevere for quite sometime, I've given up and gone elsewhere. Do the company a favour and FIRE the person who thought this was a good idea... and still haven't corrected it after so many scathing reviews. Very disappointing. Show details

Sooo tired of false advertising. Followed all instructions. Olive oil spots and dirt stains still the same as before using sard spray. That's Mooney I'll never see again and a product I will never buy again.

The stuff works ok, but they not long ago released a "new and improved" trigger handle. And it is crap. It sprays in dribs and drabs, drops straight to the floor as well. Ridiculous. Not a one off either. The missus keeps buying them, then complains when it sprays badly. Show details

I'd really give this product no stars at all but seems it's required. Following instructions to a T, it did not make even a slight change to the ink stain I wanted to remove, and yet the bottle clearly states it will remove ink. So 0 out of 5. I used to use the soap bar and it did what it claimed to do. Not so this spray.

Trigger is so hard – It took me a few minutes to work out how to use the spray. You need to grab it at top and bottom and twist it around to use. So unfortunately the product is judge before use. Show details

Murder Scene – Last Saturday my wife sugar level was deadly high. When paramedics arrived they needed a vein to cannulate. But veins were dropping. Me panicking I forgot to tell paramedics my wife is on blood thinners. The bed was covered in blood. When they took her to hospital, I went back in the bed room it looked like a murder scene, I stripped the sheets… Read more

Can't live without it – Best stain remover product I have ever purchased. Is cheap, affordable and high quality. I tested it out on blood stains, food stains, and oil stains works like magic. I sprayed the foam on within 5 minutes the stains disappeared it was insane. I have two kids and this is my go to for instant stain removal on their clothes. 100 percent reccommend better than the starys with V... product that is more popular. Show details

Good stain remover but hopeless spray nozzle – Had my old spray top and worked fine with purchasing refills but when that spray nozzle wore out I cannot buy a new one with a nozzle that works?? I have purchased 2 refills, separate orders from Woolworths, and both are missing the white guide to select spray or foam. The nozzle is useless it pours out in a stream which doesn't cover the stain. I have had to de-cant it into a cheap garden spray bottle to use it. Show details

I agree with the other reviews on the spray nozzle. It sprays out a foam and the foam does not penetrate into the item, and I then have to rub it in with my hands. Big fail, Mr. Sard! However, I'm now still buying this spray, because, for my usage, it's the best in the marketplace! But, now I buy it and take the top off, pour into a spray… Read more

bottle and its great again. Just get rid of the stupid nozzle from the manufacturer! This product is just unsurpassed in my usage at removing carpet stains! I dropped a lipstick on my carpet ... and tried to think what to do that would not make it much worse. I grabbed Sard spray, and gently "poked" at it, then a gentle rub and it didn't even leave a mark at all. Now, I use it regularly on carpet stains. Love the product, hate the applicator bottle, but just decant into a spray bottle. It hits the item, and immediately works. A soft brush helps on some stains.

Absolutely useless at removing oil stains - ie cooking or body oils. Tried a couple of times now on different occasions, followed instructions, put in warm wash, oil still on clothes. Also ineffective at blood stains, sprayed, soaked in cool water and washed in cool water, still remnants of stain.

Sard Super Power spray. Very disappointed. Have been using Sard spray for years and obviously this power spray has bleach in it. It bleached in patches 2 items that have been washed hundreds of times and are completely colourfast. And yes I did test patch but obviously didn't wait long enough to see bleaching effect. Maybe new nozzle delivers more concentrated spray? They should put a WARNING BLEACH! sign on power spray. Show details

I'm so glad I came on here as I thought I was crazy. I've used this for years and now can't stand it because of the new nozzle. The spray is gone and it's a hard direct hit on a small part. I tried another brand and it's the same. I'll have to search for another one that actually sprays.

Unfortunately I can't give this a negative rating which I would do if I could. What moron in corporate or head office of sard thought, "geez this trigger spray nozzle works so well but hey I've got an idea why don't we go and change it just for the hell of it" ever heard of the saying if it ain't broke don't fix it. You can't direct the spray onto… Read more

a single stain you end up spraying the entire item of clothing but not just lightly either it ends up saturated in the stuff the nozzle leaks with every spray you do and it no longer foams up except for when the bottle is already empty which happens after spraying maybe 3 or 4 items of clothing. Won't be buying this stuff anymore. Sard you need to get your crap together and go back to the old design of the trigger nozzle. Yours Sincerey, DIsappointed Customer

A great product ruined! – I have used Sard for years, really good at removing all sorts of stains. But now I have to find an alternative. Why? - because the idiots in the product development department decided to change the spray nozzle so that it just throws out foamy gobbets all over your laundry room and the foam just slides off fabric. You get a hell of a mess to… Read more

clean up and hardly any on the material you want to wash. Did they even test this disaster? Anther example of modern "improvements" which actually make life worse. It's the way the world now most of the actual improvements have already happened.

New trigger is rubbish – Trigger is rubbish. There is no plausible reason to overcomplicate this product. Just use an ordinary spray nozzle. You nozzle is the opposite of a point of difference. It does not create consumer stickiness, it repels customers. Here's a thought: put a handful of your product designers, marketers, engineers, salespeople and consumers in a room… Read more

and ask them the top 5 things they would do if they had to break the company. I guarantee that making the product difficult to use would be in the top 3.

Sards new trigger, doesn’t work for me! – The ‘New Trigger’ nozzle is such a disappointment. I don’t understand the reasoning behind the change when the original worked so well. I’ll be looking for an alternative product to use as I am so unimpressed. Henkel Australia, please consider the feedback that you are receiving

Why try to fix what wasn't broken? – Review rating is for the new nozzle design, the spray is still a quality product. The nozzle doesn't work, just squirts out blobs of liquid, can't even direct it on to the stain. I thought it was just me until I read all the reviews with a similar complaint. Would appreciate some feedback from the company.

Trigger nozzle is hopeless, especially for oldies who can't see the on/off – Trigger nozzle shows no directions how to make it work. With much trial and error I found that the front of the nozzle with the white piece attached needs rotating 180° to the 'On' position. Poor visual assistance and impossible for my elderly mother to work out how to use.

Very difficult and sharp mechanism for turning nozzle – For some unknown reason and with very difficult instructions that can hardly be seen, Sard has changed its nozzle mechanism adding a very sharp protruding bit that cut my wife's finger as she tried to open it. If it is that difficult for us younger people, how would an older person deal with that? Show details

Good product, bad spray mechanism – The spray mechanism does not work correctly and the instructions do not help. Its like it is missing something. I have tried to google and YouTube to get an answer but it seems this is a common complaint. Like the others, I too will no longer be buying this product again. It does show on the bottle that you can switch from spray to foam but I can… Read more

only use the spray and the spray comes out in a direct line, not "spray" which means that I have to use so much on one stain. More then you need to, therefore the product is running out quicker then normal. I'm hoping marketing didn't think that was a great idea for people to pay for more product!

Oh the spray mechanism is awful now - lost to me after many years! – Like every other review, the change to the spray mechanism has destroyed this once great product. Saturates the garment in one spot which uses up the bottle far too quickly! Show details

What have you done? – Why have you changed your Sard Super Power Spray??? It's awful!! Sprays out like glue! Does not spray all over a stain, just blobs out onto one spot. I have been buying Sard since it came onto the market. It is the best pre-stain removal product I have ever used. I swear buy it and recommend it to everyone. It has removed stains from babies,… Read more

childrens and teenagers clothes and my husbands Chefs uniforms that nothing else could remove without any soaking or scrubbing, I just sprayed and washed.

But this new formula, is useless and wasteful. We battled with the new two-way trigger, you lost customers over that, now you have changed the trigger again?

You have taken a perfect product and completely ruined it! Why?? I can't use it anymore, I use a whole bottle a week now, trying to get the goop on the stain spot. So disappointed that I will have to look for something else, not as good. Just can't understand why you had to make a 'New' version when the old version did not need improving. Now you will lose more customers, as this new Sard is just ridiculous.

Shrunk in Size – Disappointed to see another favourite brand subtly shrink from 450ml to 420ml yet still hold a hefty price after it's promotion. Shelves replenished in Woolworths and advertised as 1/2 price of $3.00 on debut this week but soon to return to it's lofty price of $6.00! No More Sard Wonder Spray for Me! Show details

Love it but – Only stain remover I will use because it the best, in my experience. However, I have been battling with spray nozzle for years. I would have given up long ago because of this but I have not found a stain remover to match it. Thank you, thank you, thank you to the person who posted pics to demonstrate how to do it!! maybe if i could open it i could review it – Thank god for the internet, I had to find this forum just so I could open the stupid thing. Dumbest trigger ever, I will never buy it again regardless, 20minutes of my life I will never get back just trying to open it. Thank you for your reviews or I would have had to waste my time going back to the shop or smashing the wretched thing. Will never buy again.

why reinvent the wheel? My review is on the mechanism – I like to have a spare in the cupboard so when I saw Sard Power trigger I thought I'd try it. I only got to use it once and the next time it the trigger failed to work on either side so I have a useless bottle of liquid. The old one worked for me and it seems I have wasted my money. Disappointing as I have used the old Sard for years. Show details

Spray container does not work – I agree with comments on poor results. I do not understand why sard feels the need to redesign the spray function. I cannot upload the photo but the new container for 2 in 1 sard winde super power literally does not spray! I have to remove the spray function and pour the (inferior) liquid onto garments. Is there any excuse or explanation for this idiocy? Good bye sard. You’ve tested me once too often.
