Hi - have a Schmick single door under bench freezer - model BD 113-B/BD113-SS. LED display sits at -04deg. Items on top shelf of are not freezing. Freezer used to have boost cycles but now remains eerily quiet. Have tried resetting temperature but freezer does not go above -04deg (LED Display) Is this something to be concerned about? Is there an easy fix. Instruction manual is pretty light on re trouble-shooting. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thank you.

I have a Schmick under bench bar fridge for by BBQ and am really happy with it. However, it it always appears to be running. Does it have an internal fan that runs constantly, and am I confusing this with compressor?
Hi Ken, Yes, the inner fan runs all the time, the compressor turns on/off (as it cycles) until it reaches temp. You could try turning the dial down a little, 5-Max is coldest setting which means it will run a lot longer to get to temperature. These are very low on consumption anyway.
Do you make any bar fridge larger than 70L that is less than 790mm high and 620mm wide?
The SK86 was made for that niche part, but it's front venting, so more $$$ than normal units. See this link; external link It has option for Black, S/S with glass door and S/S with solid door as well as heated glass options.

Does this Fridge keep drinks cool, say below 5 degrees
Yes, it's a proper fridge, it cycles up down and if set on high can get to zero no problems in ambient temps up to 32oC.
Can anyone give me some information regarding how well this fridge will perform in far north queensland with the heat and humidity up here. Will the fridge condensate badly or will it be fine? Its going to be going under an island bench and will be put in to a brand newly build house. Thanks
It hasn’t missed a beat since we purchased this, although we are in Brisbane I would highly recommend it
It will work fine, as long as out of weather and NO sunlight, but you will still get condensation on glass when humidity is over about 65%.
Do you make a Schmick double door outdoor alfresco with the blast chill I have only seen a single door
The blast chill only comes in 1 door model HUS-EX108, we have units you can set to run under zero (with a few parameter changes) but this becomes problematic as the evaporator needs to defrost etc. You may have to do manual defrosts each 3-6 Months etc. Models that suit that are GSP2H-SS and ENV2H-SS.
