Absolute Rubbish – My 10 year old son had been at me all year to dye his blue like Dan TDM so for a surprise at Xmas I granted his wish! What a complete let down when it came to washing out & drying to find it was all patchy & definitely not blue! My son has sandy blond hair & a short mullet so going by the instructions this was guaranteed to work! Very false advertising & misleading & should never be sold to the public! Show details

It's waste of money, don't buy it – I got less hair volume, I applied evenly one whole tube and left it on for 30 mins but my hair colour is exactly the same as before. I could not find a bit of difference after using this dye. It's highly no recommended. Yeah, my skin is blue and my bathtub too. So, it stained everything blue except my hairs. Show details

It works on grey hair!! – I didn't think it would work as I'm grey all over but it was cheap so I bought it anyway. Left it in for half an hour and it worked. Not too brazen as it would be on a blond, just enough for some funky pastel highlights. Show details

instructions to the letter, rinsed it out with warm water after 35 minutes. Well....I didn't expect much effect to the back of my head (medium brown) but fully expected to have my naturally grey hairs come out as bright, in your face electric blue. Instead, no change to the brown hair, and very pale and patchy colour to the Grey's.

NOT HAPPY I am stuck with an UGLY shade of light pastel blue which looks absolutely disgusting and like I tried using magic silver blue (probably would have been a better result). The result is so horrible and devastating that I refuse to be seen without a beanie to cover this horror show because the thought of anyone seeing this epic product failure actually makes me cry.

First time I've had a dye that failed to dye my hair, but happily dyes everything else it comes into contact with.

Great if you don't ever want your natural colour back – This dye looks great for the first 3 washes. Bright, vibrant and fresh. BUT after 8 WEEKS I still have a pale blue/green colour left over. It hasn't washed out at all, it's left a gross, dirty water colour in my hair. Show details

Last longer then 8 washes – I used the electric blue and pastel blue 8 washes on my platinum blonde hair and Ive washed it 2-3 times a week for over 2 months already and it faded but still very blue and i have over an inch in regrowth and the blue just won't come out and ideas without using bleach im just over the colour now and want it back to the way it was????? Show details

Best ever blue dye – I have very blonde curly hair and dye about 8 inches of the bottom length. This colour stays in my hair for at least 8 weeks with twice weekly washes. The colour gradually fades to a beautiful pastel after this time. There wasn't any colour run or staining.

One of the best colours I have used – I have been dying my hair for over 10 years now. I did bleach before the blue but i have never had any colour last as well as this blue. This blue has been in for over a month with minimum of 1 wash per week and is still very vibrant. Very impressed with this colour and would not change at all.

Review only for ‘electric blue’ – I have used several of these cheap temporary colours with great results but this one not so much. It is more green than blue. And not even a pretty shade of green. I will be washing my hair more than usual to get rid of it. I should add, I have brown hair with blonde highlights.

fell love with the colour. It was a cool dark blue. I rinsed it just as the box told me, but did not wash it in fear that it would lose it's colour.

Two days later I went to the beach. I did all I could to save the colour. I tied it in a bun, and wet it with fresh water first so the salt wouldn't cling as much.

When I got home, I washed my hair, got out of the shower, and saw that the blue was gone! 80% of my hair had gone back to the orignal colour. The tips of my hair were light blue. I'm so disappointed! The hair colour was my dream colour and it only lasted two days! Never again

DOES NOT WORK – I tried this product to turn my son's hair blue for Crazy Hair day at school understanding that it would wash out in 8 washes and school holidays was starting the next day...all it did was turn his scalp blue in patches and the rest washed out completely...not even a hint of blue in his hair...terrible product...DO NOT USE.

Horrible. Tried multiple times – I've tried the purple pastel, electric blue, silver toner and bright purple. Packet size pathetic and coverage patchy even when multiple packets used and hair soaked with product. Save your money and use a fudge.

Never going to come out – In December for some fun i used the electric blue in my hair..i have lightened brown hair..i was aware it would take more the 8 washes..it is now February...my hairdresser cannot remove it and it is just going to have to grow out..the bizarre thing is the lightened parts of my hair are almost fine now but my natural brown hair us still blue. Would never recommend this to anyone and warn people when i see them reaching for it!

Good if you want just your roots dyed haha – Had my hair bleached by the hair dresser today so it was white. Applied 5 packets of the pastel blue to make sure we had enough coverage even though my hair is only chin length and my hair turned pastel at the roots and swamp green at the ends. It was awful. blue before buying a more expensive brand since it is available in the supermarket. Alas it was not. Would not recommend and will never buy again.
