Not the best – This rangehood is exceptionally loud on all fan settings. The suction is quite poor, even on the highest setting, steam/smoke still filled the kitchen. Noisy and ineffective – We installed this rangehood as part of our entire kitchen renovation. This rangehood was sold to us as a powerful suction unit, and not too noisy. We were demonstrated the 90cm version of this model in the showroom. We are now 3 months past installation, and the unit is totally worthless. smoke, moisture, etc. When we cook, our kitchen gets saturated from the moisture. If we cook meat, the smoke alarm in the hallway goes off. Nothing goes up the rangehood. Not only that, it is so noisy, it sounds like a jet engine. When my husband and i are in the kitchen together, cooking, we can't even hear each other without yelling. We have contacted the showroom and Schweigen and are still waiting for a "technician" to come and look to see "if it has been installed correctly". I have spoken to our cabinet maker and electrician, who all confirmed that the installation was simple and properly completed. Wonder what the "technician" is going to have to say. Unless he works miracles, this piece of useless equipment will be removed and returned to the showroom. Do not buy.

Noisy but Effective – Was sold this model as a special on the day combined with other appliances we were purchasing. It was the base model and no mention of overall quietness. apart from locating the flexible duct in the correct location on top of the unit.

The duct relies just sitting on top of the outlet with no instructions to secure it in place.

The back draft flaps were sticking if the flexible duct if they were not completely clear of fouling.

Overall the unit is very effective, however very noisy.
