Monster frame!!! – over all i rated this bike as exelent! very good price very strong frame and the components are good, but can be upgraded to create a super light and strong bike. i definitly recomended this bike to my mates. great bike, good price, very strong, looks awesome, cool design, Love it!... =) Frame. Maybe the components. but then again for the price of the bike, they're pretty awesome.
Value for money – It's a pretty strong frame, definitely worthy high-end components. It is responsive, stiff but still forgiving if you get into trouble. The brakes are extremely effective, but be careful when using them because they tend to be switch-like. The wheels are fairly weak, I buckled mine and bent the axles within a week of purchasing it, and I wasn't even riding it hard. But for $500 new, you can't expect it to have the strongest components out. The frame is by far the best thing about the bike, and is a great platform to upgrade. It is the best bike you can buy for this money. The frame, the responsiveness and the price The low-end componentry
My 2011 "XS" YZ 30: Great graphics for 2011 orange frame- "spectre design", looks awesome until to-date. When I bought it in 2011, I thought it's okay with the non series component since the retail price was dirt-cheap & I was contented. Somehow throughout these 3 years, I just had a feeling if the components were better, I could actually make my ride better than the over-priced high-end bikes....the result- a super stiff transfer of power responsive reliable & superb handling frame. During the span of 3 years, I have since then built- up & upgraded (with new & used ) to - a anodized orange chris king headset, deity pivot seatpost machined-skimmed to 26.8 mm., with white deity vertigo saddle, shimano saint groupset, white spank spike 26" rims with chris king iso hubs, dt swiss butted spokes with swalbe table tops 2.25 tyres, answer white handlebar & stem, odi vans waffle orange lock-on grips, fox 831 100mm fork.
