Scotts Lawn Builder Weed, Feed & Green Up

Terrible – Terrible product, does not apply great at all. Had to squeeze the bottle to get anything out out.

Faulty mechanisms x 2 – 1st bottle had a blockage and didn’t allow water to come through at all. Returned the bottle. The replacement bottle allowed water to pass through but didn’t suck up contents for application, only spraying water. We have very good potable water pressure. 1 lemon I can accept. 2 in row tells me there is something wrong with the product. Will not be getting a third. I do not recommend the product.

Good For A Weed / Feed, But Not Perfect – Overall I like this product - it is easy to use, and the grass definitely likes it - one week later it is much greener, but I'm just not so sure on the weed-killing ability of it. 2.8 litres is big enough to do my entire lawn (890 m2) for only $20 ish is not too bad of a deal. 15 minutes is all it takes and one week later the lawn shows the results - very green and lush response to it. The old product was a pig of a thing to use, mostly around how the product sprayed out of the bottle - I couldn't be confident that it was coming out at all, nor if it was at the correct ratio, and the spray pattern was sketchy at best - the new bottle is much better.

My only complaint is that I haven't really seen a big drop in the amount of weeds, maybe some yellowing of the more obvious weeds, but certainly not an extermination of all weeds everywhere. I followed the instructions regarding time since mowing / watering / rain etc, but there was no significant weed extermination, disappointing given the exceptional performance of the fertilizing part of the product.

I'll try it again, hopefully I'll have better results. Maybe I've just got resilient weeds?
