Amazing audio quality – I have had these headphones for about four months now and I have never had a better audio experience with any other set of headphones I have owned(I have previously owned Bose and JBL headphones) and they were by far the cheapest headphones I have owned. The noise-cancelling doesn't compare to bose but I found that it was enough for me to have a… Read more
really enjoyable listening experience. The headphones took a little bit to wear in but I can have them on for hours now and feel no discomfort at all.
Good as backup – Bought these as a backup to my Beats Solo 3. As far as comfort, the difference is the sizing of the ear muffs, these are larger, so go over the complete ear. They are comfortable and can wear for long periods of time. I had to refer to online assistance in order to pair with my phone. Pairing was instant there on. With the added noise canceling,… Read more
there is no background noise to be concerned with. Not designed to use whilst not aware of surroundings. Need to be aware of surroundings, as silly as this may be, will make a note of this. The battery life is less than the Beats, but but do last a while. Can be used with phone using the supplied cord.
Great all around headphones – I bought the product during JBHiFi promotion and the price was reduced to more than 50%. For that value, it was one of the best headphones you can buy. Sound quality is above average - some people are comparing this to Bose headphones, but to me Bose has more sound quality to it. It is light weight, comfortable enough to wear it while jogging.… Read more
connect it to my iphone x and/or apple watch 4th gen, during 2km run, a few drop out happened, not sure why but when online, it continues where it left off. Controls a bit pain, but overall it's great. in the end of the day, you are not controlling it from the headphone itself. Battery life is over the top, haven't had any incident where the headphones run out of juice. I'm happy with the purchase.

BAttery issues – Only had the headets for 12 months but now battery heats up on charge and does not charge.......... Its a shame because they started out great - can only use now with cable Show details
So so headphone – I bought this from the good guys in $169m (but then JB Hi-Fi was selling in $149), so you get a point when someone selling something cheap, it is not worth to buy but it's ok Pros: - great design - big cushion and area to fit on big ears Cons: - when attending calls, can hear other noise clearly around you - lots of buttons - bass is not good … Read more
Overall, if you are not much concerned on sound quality and that mic issue, this is alright to buy otherwise look for other brands.
Impossible to fit replacement earpads! – Only a demented lunatic with anti-social tendencies could have designed how the earpads attach to the headphones! I have two pairs of these headphones and the earpads in both have fallen apart. Trying to get new pads on is an exercise in absolute frustration, with lots of swearing and an immensely strong temptation to just run my car over the bloody things. What a waste of money! Bought these in 2019 or 2020 to deal with a noisy work environment (ie loud co-workers) and used them consistently every work day over five years. In that time I replaced the ear pads ( bought from amazon ) that fell apart and I'm surprised to see that they are still for sale. I'm currently using wireless earbuds as I have changed jobs to an… Read more
'agile' work environment but some days are really noisy so I'm considering bringing them in again on those days. I've been really happy with them and had no issues with using them for phone calls. I bought them because the sound quality and noise blocking on my wired earbuds from Sennheiser was exceptional. I found these also good although there is a big difference in listening to a proper music file to something transmitted over the internet. The music quality is better than my current earbuds wireless Soundcore Liberty 4 NC which I also really like. My issues would be you are limited in what earrings you can wear with the headphones because it can become uncomfortable so you are limited to small hoops or studs but then again that is a small fashion sacrifice to pay for peace and quiet.
If you want headphones, buy these – These are FANTASTIC! I had never owned headphones before and felt a bit apprehensive to splurge but I am so glad I did. The sound quality is fantastic, they are comfortable, noise cancelling is perfect. They fold really easily to pack away too. Bluetooth is the best feature - connects to my phone or laptop in a flash but comes with cord as well.… Read more
Battery lasts a very long time. I recommend this for music lovers, TV watchers, and those who meditate.
Great sound – Would given better review but mine are kept in case and the pads on earphones keep falling off.I can’t myself pit then on went back to where I purchased them warranty was out by a day and they wouldn’t help put cushions on. Wouldn’t buy again Show details
Painful – Very small earpads that cause pain and ruin the listening experience. Everything else is okay and perhaps if you have smaller ears these will fit you fine but they caused me great discomfort, very painful on the ears. Show details
Just one really really annoying feature – The sound quality is great and mic is really good and clear. Just one super annoying feature, is when it reaches 1/2 battery, there is voice that says 6-12 hours of battery left... non stop... PLEASE make it stop. I just need to know ONCE! Over the course of 2 hours it repeats every 5 mins. I just want to throw the headphones out. Hopefully I… Read more
can get a firmware update pushed to my device. If not I need to return this product. OMG No idea how annoying this is.
Very dissatisfied absolute rubbish – Build quality is ok but the rest is rubbish. Very uncomfortable, the noise cancelling is crap, you get continuous annoying beeps, the sound quality is the worst I’ve experienced, very tinny with no bass or depth, the Captune app is required but it isn’t available in Australia???..why sell them in Australia if you cannot use them properly. They are… Read more
$360 headphones which I got from JB HIFI on special for 1/2 price, but still they are just rubbish. My kids $60 wireless cheap brand headphones are better than these.
Good but..... not over ear – The sound is good. The sound muffling is pretty good before you turn them on. Turn on the noise canceling and you do get a lot of external base interference removed. You do still hear the higher pitches but muffled. The main problem is they are not over ear. I had to rotate the pads and massage them to a rounder shape so my ears would fit in. My… Read more
ears get sore after a while. May improve as I wear them in. I would recommend downloading the operating instructions. The ones in the box are terrible. Bought them on sale from The Good Guys.

Poor sound quality, uncomfortable, bad app and poor build quality – I bought these about nine months ago and am happy to report that the volume button just broke, so I was able to return them to JBs for a store credit. They are a terrible, terrible set of headphones. First the good points - noise cancelling is good and the sound is not too bad when using the cable. Now the bad points - the sound quality over… Read more
bluetooth is tinny, flat and painful if you don't use their app. The app is tuned to make the bluetooth sound acceptable, which it does. But the app is a joke - glitchy, crashy, no features, strange song ordering and temperamental. Just a pain to use - I really hate it. These are classified as over-ear, but the cups are so small i have to tuck my ears into them (and I have small ears!). They are so uncomfortable. They are currently selling on special at JB for $165 down from $329. My opinion is DON'T DO IT.
The sound is excellent for both music and calls – I use the 4.40 version of these for listening to music and also taking calls on my softphone and mobile. Excellent audio quality and the handsfree is great. I use them when I visit the datacentre to talk to support teams and they can hear me fine and I can hear them clear as a bell. I also use them when using power tools to listen to music and… Read more
muffle the sound and they do all these jobs with no problems. Absolutely love em. You do need music or phone call playing to really cancel the noise.
Quite excellent wired phones – Definitely long-lasting in-built battery, the headphones have small cups and those like me with large ears might fine them a little tight on the ears, but it might be a good thing being tight because you need a break after a long while if you are sitting a lot in the lounge or in the car, just to get the blood flow going around the body to prevent… Read more
obesity-causing or bone joint problems. The special discount just over $100 off attracted my attention - and compared to the old model Sennheiser wireless headphones more than ten years ago that needed a pair of rechargeable AAA batteries inserted in the earcup, I am glad I gave those old headphones away free to some clothes pink bag once-a-year home collection organisation. The bass and treble are sensitively loud enough to be enjoyable as I connect them wired to the HP laptop or LG mobile phone when listening to Spotify music app for my favorite artists through internet WIFI, even though I do not use bluetooth because the cable is long enough and noise-free enough for my devices. At first I thought the product I saw on the shelf a few meters away is just another CD-carrying black case but it turned out to be Philips MP3-CD portable player just bought recently from JB HIFI June 2019 just under $80 and is definitely no cheap ugly duckling Sony-like discman, despite using the office lamp or mini led torch to see the small grey screen, and Sennheiser's headphones definitely brings out the best in Philips extra bass boost feature - noiseless and clean digital disc playing when playing one of my favorite artists Jean Michel Jarre: Electronica 1 - The Time Machine.
This is good quality sound - but material plastic life is not great – I do use this headphone almost everyday, it good not at all uncomfortable for my head and doing well - battery lie is good as they promises. but problem is with build quality, plastic rim around sliding/adjustable speaker cups are made out of very poor plastic and has cracks and splits - so making this headphone not fit to use. Even speaker and battery are fine this $250 item is not fit for use after few months. So giving them 3 star.. Show details
Poor noise cancellation – The very first time I used these headphones there was intermittent bass distortion. This has improved over time, but Sennheiser were worse than useless when I requested help. The noise cancellation is pretty poor. Not at all what I expected. Reduces the worst of outside noise but otherwise ineffective. If someone is watching TV next to you… Read more
while you listen to music you can still hear every word! The buttons are fiddly and LED displays are useless on headphones as you do not have eyes on stalks by your ears. Get uncomfortable quickly unless you have very small ears. I do not really recommend them.
good sound but the wireless is wanting – I have had this for about 2 weeks now, this is the first high-end airphones I have had and at first I was overjoyed but quickly became tired of having to reconnect the Bluetooth EVERY time I turn it on, it just will not remember the connection, I am using a cheap sender from eBay and that may be the problem but the cheap ones that hurt me ears… Read more
never had this problem, I think the sound is excellent but once I have no experience to compare with, oh and the noise cancelling works well too, but sadly I can still hear the wife talking :), would I buy this again NO, I should also mention battery life, that is truly excellent.
Not perfect! – Bought these on fantastic reviews, however great sound but very uncomfortable around the ears and fidley buttons! A bit inferior to Bose but the bonus is a lot cheaper! After the negatives they are ok for what you pay. Very good battery life. Well made but perhaps I would have paid the extra and opted for better quality. Show details
Great pair of headphones – these headphones are really convenient but the the bluetooth aspect is not that great, when you connect to your computer using the bluetooth mode, sound quality is pretty poor but when your using a cord which is included it is so much better and clearer, while the cord is in you can still activate the noise cancelling feature but you can still… Read more
here the tiniest bit of noise. it folds down to a compact size and a carry bag is included. i dont really mind the cord but for some peaople it may get annoying if you hate cords. i got my pair from tobydealsau for 200$ when harvey norman has them for 400$, there are alot of bad reviews for tobydeals but i had a fine experience. these headphones a great for anyone especially desk workers and students like me.
The Pursuit of Perfect Sound – Sennheiser HD 4.50 is an affordable yet good quality Bluetooth headphone. Battery life is exceptional, and sound quality is superb. The only thing I don't like about it is, it does not tell you how much juice is left in the batteries when you turn it on (my MB Pro 2 does this every time I push the button). Besides that, this is the perfect noise cancelling headphone for those on a budget. Show details

Excellent battery life – Great sound, great price, ($220 JBHIFI), battery life is amazing. I would give them five stars but found they have a problem with bumps, when there is a bump in the road or the plane there's a click in the sound that is a little annoying.. Could just be my pair though. Show details

Great cans – Maybe not the biggest bass response but beautiful headphones all the same. N/C works great too. You wont find better for the price. I have had lots of headphone but these perform best when flying or in loud noisy environments. Very happy and highly recommend to anyone looking for good N/C cans Show details
Better than BOSE QC 35 – Recently bought this headphones I am completely satisfied with battery life and quality of sound. I was about to buy Bose QC35 for $500 but found this one on special for $278 at Officeworks I straight away bought it and since then I am so satisfied I made a right decision and also fits well over the ear. Great sound and very comfortable. Excellent Service by Sennheiser – I received these headphones (2 sets) today after advising Sennheiser about ongoing issues with another 2 sets of their headphones that have been discontinued (good - many faults!). Sennheiser was excellent and agreed to send us these due to the issues we have experienced. It was a professional and fair thing to do and I really appreciate… Read more
Sennheiser for resolving our issue. Now, the new headphones.
Easy to set up and pair with a variety of devices
Comfortable to wear
Charges with mini USB (easily replaced)
Has a replaceable cord for plug in use if needed
Has replacement headphone cushions if needed
The sound is fantastic. I watch a lot of streamed video and am also a professional musician so I'm pretty picky and these are truly wonderful.
Can't fault Sennheiser or these headphones!
Best headphones for sound and comfort – Awesome sound quality. Easy to use great charge I use them everyday and only change once a fortnight- super comfortable both me and the hubby have a pair each best in the price range. I would improve the quality of the case it comes with- a hard case would be good and the first pair we lost the charger in the packaging Show details
Very good noise cancelling headphone – My experience using this headphone has been excellent so far. Very good battery, excellent sound quality, very good active noise cancellation, and stylish. Although I can easily wear it for few hours, there are some headphones which are more comfortable compared to this one. It is very good for its price. Show details
Still perfecting my use of them – Very good range, great sound,a bit tight on ears and not as comfortable as I wanted them to be,and seems to lose contact very easily and often. Also loses right channel intermittantly and I hve to fiddle head phone buttons and dongle to recapture channel. Also when switched off and then switched back on takes time to aquire contact Show details
Great headphones for the price point – Bought a pair of these a couple of weeks ago. Love the sound. Very even bass and and especially the active noise cancellation. They are very easy to operate and come in a soft storage case. I am still getting used to the on ear design but so far they are comfortable to wear. I usually use for about an hour or so at a time. The all rounder! – Great sound balance, bass is surprisingly good, light and comfortable on ears. It has Sennheiser's NoiseGard (Noise Cancelling) feature, which does a decent job for this price range. Bluetooth connectivity is great and will work over a reasonable distance. The included carry pouch (not a hard case) is great for travel to protect against scrathes… Read more
etc and it is not bulky at all. The HD 4.50 is certainly an all rounder - sound, looks, connectivity, comfort, and price! Definitely recommended for everyday use.
These are the best wireless headphones you can get for around $200 – If you don't care about wires, The Audio Technica ATH-M50s provide a clearer and less muddy sound. However, if you're going wireless, the Sennheiser's are hard to beat. The controls on the right earcup are useful and intuitive, you won't ever have to reach for your phone. The passive noise cancelling of the headphones themselves is very good,… Read more
switching on the active noise cancelling only makes it even better, perfect for plane trips. For listening to music the bluetooth delay is pretty much unnoticeable, but I can't recommend these for gaming. The battery life they claim also seems to more of less be holding up. However, some may dislike the way that these headphones fit around their ears, Sennheiser adopts a method different to most headphones, having the earcups "cup" the ear a lot more, I'd advice potential buyers to try them out a local JB or headphones store before buying. In addition, the headphones may feel somewhat uncomfortable for the first week, but after it breaks in a bit, it should feel a lot more natural.
Very good sound – These headphones are very comfortable with well padded ear pieces. The sound is high quality and they can be use via Bluetooth or plugged in. They don't take long to charge. They fold neatly into the supplied case for travel. They seem robust and high quality which you would expect for the price. The noise cancelling would be great in noisy environments although I haven't tried them out like that yet, and the charge does last all day. Show details
Good Product, best headphones i have owned – These are the most comfortable and best sounding headphones i have ever owned. The padding is thick and comfortable and the ear cavity is large enough to not squish my ears which can lead to sore ears after a while. The battery life is great, 10hrs+ continuous music before i need to very easily recharge (just a micro USB cable). Headphones come… Read more
