Very fiddly to set up

You have to Tune the headphones with a dial on the side of the earpiece to make them work. This makes it fiddly and you have to tune them regularly. Nothing like a burst of static when you turn them on. to get your attention! Why not have them set up at the factory? Sound is good but not worth the effort or the price. At 18 months old they have died completely so taking them back. Show details

OK for the price

Even though the construction of these headphones feels very cheap, they feal a little more durable than other brands in this price band. The sound quality is not bad for the price and they're very easy to install and use. I was specifically after RF wireless headphones as Bluetooth is a bit confusing for the elderly recipient of these headphones. I paid $124 at the time of purchase. Show details

Little disappointed

My model is TR 120 II but i think they are the same? Had an 8 year old Sennheiser head set that cost about $150 back then and this latest model isn't as good. This model has an annoying tune button which sometimes needs to be continuously adjusted to get rid of "crackling". The older headphones had ear muff type speakers, the new ones have flat speaker type which do not sit on your head nearly as well. In closing i will say that because of the lack of RF headphones on the market for around $200 you have very limited option. Wish i knew why that annoying tune button is on them. Show details

Great sound but…..terrible instructions

These have got great sound, but if something goes wrong like the lights that are suppose to turn on or off don’t work, the instructions to fix any problem is terrible. They are expensive headphones and there shouldn’t be so many problems. I’ve only had mine for about 6 weeks and suddenly they wont charge. Show details

Absolutely useless

The signal drops out regularly - squeals in your ears
Turning off or put on hold - squeals in your ears
drops out more times than it is useful
I really DO NOT LIKE THESE - A WASTE OF MONEY - TO BE PUT IN A BOX NEVER TO BE USED AGAIN!!!!!!!
Doesn't matter how the sales person glamorizes these headsets 'don't bother' Show details

Unusable

When sound is low or silent on tv, the transmitter shuts down (this is done on purpose by sennheiser) and you get an earful of white noise at full volume.
My old Mum has a pair of Phillips but she keeps breaking them so these are a fill in while I repair the Phillips. They were only tested when I got them and they seemed fine, it was only recently that she broke the Phillips again they were put into proper service, and failed miserably. Show details

Good product with some reservations

Very good product with regard to sound quality. Tuning the headphones to the base station can be a bit 'fiddly'. Note that if your TV has only an optical connection you will need to buy an adapter. Show details

Good quality build

Good set of headphones which are built well with quality materials but their service could use some improving. I bought my pair online and it took close to 2 weeks to be shipped

Does what it says but having trouble connecting it to the new android tv via the optical cable

These headphones allow a person who is hard of hearing to listen to tv clearly whilst everyone else in the room can hear the tv as normal. These have served our family well for some time but we recently upgraded to an Android tv and it does not have the old cable attachments. This unit has not worked so well now that it has to be connected via the optical input with an optical cable. Its not as effective with new style androids. Show details

Fall off my head too easily

Reasonable quality. On ear not over ear. Did ask salesperson if I could take them out of box but no...he said over ear. Fall off my head which is annoying. Show details

Just Perfect

* Purchased through necessity due to poor hearing.
* Sound quality crisp/clear. NB:- Family members/users agree.
* Static is easily eliminated with quick tune dial. (Rarely needed).
* Easily/firmly sits on cradle for recharging for more than adequate battery life.
* Comfortable fit/easy adjustment.
* Piece "of cake " to connect to TV system. NB:- Just ensure TV has correct audio port. Show details

Awesome!

Build Quality: Outstanding and you can find replacement parts on ebay

Sound Quality: Very good

Functionality: Excellent and versatile. Battery recharge is convenient and useful.

Perfect way to watch TV when you don't want to interrupt others or you find it hard to hear what is being said on the TV.

One thing I have found with these headphones and it is not widely known is that if you purchase two sets of headphones you can sync more than one headset to the same base station. This is great if both parents want to watch a TV show late at night and they don't want to interrupt the kids sleeping in the next room.

I just purchased a replacement set of RS 120 W headphones. I sat on the old ones. I noticed the new ones have auto tuning, which is nice I guess, but the problem I have with the new ones is the volume. I have the TV output to Max and even with the headphones volume to max it is not loud enough. However, the old ones were. What can I do?

My Sennheiser HDR 120 II headphones were working fine in the morning, I when to to the shop, and when I returned and switched TV and headphones on, I had a lot of interference. I tried resetting on the 3 switches at the base, and lots of other things, nothing cleared it. Tried again later in the day. Any suggestions please.

they are very sensitive to tune control, suggest you try is up or down very very slowly

Check the RCA connectors on the TV and make sure they're clean and have no corrosion. If there is any corrosion just give it a light sand with some very fine sandpaper or steel wool, if they need a clean just use some Isopropyl alcohol.

Have bought for my hard of hearing Mother, connected to TV & work great. She would like to use the head phones during the night, so other residents are not affected by the loud TV noise. She would like to also watch the TV with its own sound during the day, with TV volume being used & not the head phones. Is there a way you can use the TV remote etc to be able disconnect the head phones, without pulling out the cables from behind TV etc each time she uses ???

Mejico
Mejico

It depends on the TV. Some allow you to control the audio output, e.g. out to both TV speakers and headphones or headphone only, but not all TVs have this function.

While the headphones are not being used they go onto the charge station to recharge. Not sure why you would want to disconnect them?
The phones have an on/off button so just turn them off. Button is on the left ear piece.
