Unprofessional, dishonest with appalling customer service – Damaged the capping on the limestone wall & refused to make good the damage. Despite assurances made by the admin staff/wife of the business proprietor that he would make contact to fix the damage, I heard nothing from the owner. Instead, the subcontractor used for the job rang me and insisted I had to repay him for a piece of steel panel used which wasn’t included in the quote if I wanted the damage attended to by him. Mind you this was an insurance job. I refused, highlighting the inappropriateness of him demanding payment to fix the damage done by him. He got abusive so I hung up. He rang back and left an abusive message on my message bank saying, “crap you bit....”. I sent the business owner the recorded message so that he could listen to the abuse himself and perhaps empathise with being abused. Sadly no and no courtesy of a returned contact from the owner either. Following numerous attempts, I eventually managed to make direct contact with him. Sadly his attitude was on par as the sub-contractor he used. Avoid them at all costs. Not cheap either.
