Shark Rocket DuoClean Corded HV382

This Shark sucks, but not in a good way – After downsizing from our home to a 2 bedroom apartment I gave away my Shark Navigator Lift Away and purchased the Rocket Corded Vacuum due to storage limitations. I decided on this Shark product because I loved my previous Shark vacuum but I am terribly disappointed. The previous Shark vacuum had suction so strong it could pick up pet toys if they were within a few centimetres; the Rocket doesn't pick them up even when you roll over them! Not that this is a feature I want, but I do expect to have excellent pick up from a vacuum and this one just does not have it. I doesn't pick up pet hair as easily as the Navigator nor does it have an easy to empty collection bin. In fact, the entire product is just messy. I have to use my hand to clean out the bin and rather than having a feature to eliminate the need to remove my long hair from the roller blade (which the Navigator does), I have to do this manually, once again getting my hands into the dirty roller. I don't understand why Shark has the technology and know-how to produce a very fine vacuum machine ( I gave away my Dyson because the Shark Navigator was just simply a better product), yet they put out this very poor product. I would not recommend this product; especially if you have pets, carpet or long hair.
