A batchelor's go to – Given the price, it is a great buy. It does the same job as my fan oven but is cheaper to run for small batches. It produces great chips, and cooks pies from frozen no problem!. Who known how long will last? That we will have to wait and see. But so far, a bachelor's dream.  Show details

basket goes rusty – Received my Sheffield Air fryer as Christmas present 2 years ago. It now has a number of rust spots on basket. I understand this happens with other air fryers as well.I wish I knew of a place that would re-seal. Can't do without now so I put baking paper over middle of basket. I mostly cook frozen foods: chicken tenders, crumbed fish . home-made chips, sausage rolls, bacon, Salami, pita crisps . Also use to crisp thawed bread rolls.  Show details

Wonderful appliance – Mine is now 4 to 5 yrs old . Multi cooker , cooks everything to perfection . Use it daily . Easy to use and clean . Wouldn't be without it . Pity it's a discontinued line . Want to buy a second one and not convinced the newer models are as versatile and reliable  Show details

This is amazing – love how simple and easy the airfryer makes cooking. Have used the airfryer several times now and great results everytime. It's super easy to clean. It's also great for my partner who loves takeaway food. It is definitely a better alternative for him to have when he is working late.  Show details

Great Product – I have found it to be a great product. Ince you get used to it and experiment a bit you can find you can cook anything in it. From meat to chips to pizzas and schnitzels. l dont use anything else now in fact l have 2 in case l need to cook meat in one and potatoes in the other or 2 pizzas at once. LOVE IT !!!!

Good item in the kitchen – Air fryer works well and is fast with frozen food. Not so good with other food. The lid lifts up and stays in place - have to push release button firmly to release and close lid while supporting the lid a bit awkward and not recommended. A bigger recipe book will be a bonus to learn how to cook other food with it. Quick. Only cooked frozen chips until now. The lack of recipies.

Shefield air fryer fatal flaw – Air fryer works okay except any liquid leaks past stirrer. Stirrer motor only lasted about 8 uses before it quit. Cooked the food okay when stirrer was working Probably works perfectly if keep the amount of liquid down The lid lifts up and stays in place - have to push release button firmly to release and close lid while supporting the lid a… Read more

bit awkward and not recommended for people with arthritis removable pan Stirrer does not turn food over very well and takes up a lot of space.

It is a great machine & I need to experiment a lot more. Delivery was very quick – I spoke to Alan at Sheffield customer service. He was very helpful with answers to my many questions. Basically this machine is a trial & error & a lot of common sense. The times given are only an indication so after a few times you will be able to work times out for one self with the things you are cooking. Roast spuds can be scored & brushed with oil or cooking spray. I like the concept mainly not enough info Show 2 replies

Very happy with this cooker! – The appliance is everything it is advertised to be and more. The chips it cooks cannot be distinguished from the best of chips cooked in deep fat or oil yet the cooker takes at most a tablespoon of oil. I have never had much success with oven chips in the past, they have always come out very second rate to cooking them in deep oil,so having this… Read more

machine cook them with such delicious results is great, So, it is possible to have chips and other foods that taste as if they were deep fried in a very food quality oil, yet in fact have very little oil in them. I have also cooked fish both crumbed and plain, chops, prawns, corn fritters, chicken, roast vegetables and stir fries and have been very pleased with the results. Apparently you can also cook things like scones, pastries and cakes but I've not tried those yet, The only things I've had from it that were disappointing were a couple of times when I cooked things too long so they were overcooked, in other words, the result of my error not of the cooker. Since its arrival I have used it nearly every day, sometimes several times a day, as it is so very handy and the results are so tasty.

It is easy to clean as the pan and racks etc come out of the machine to be washed. The only slight 'cons' I can think of are that the button to release the lid so you can close it is a little stiff so it needs quite a firm push and the lack of a recipe book or booklet. Delicious results. Versatility. Excellent value for money. Light enough to easily be taken from cupboard to bench top. Easy to clean. Button to release lid to close it is a little stiff. The instruction book is adequate but there is no recipe book, only a brief cooking guide in the instruction book.
