We bought a Shelta Palermo 330 in 2000 for $275. It has been in continuous summer duty (about 6 mths per year) since then, and has worked very well. Last week a 100km/h wind gust tore the relief vent canvas and damaged some of the supports. So after 13 years we decided to buy a new one, and were amazed that the same umbrella is now 17% cheaper. The new umbrella should just about see us out!
Effective shading, easy to erect, strong, withstands winds below say 90 km/h, very long life (13 yrs).
The only fiddly thing about the product is to store the rope which pulls up the shade from the storage position - we wrap it around the support pole - and this is teh most time-consuming part of erecting it.
