I have purchased Sheridan 500TC sateen sheets for years. Bought some new ones recently. Nothing about them Is Sateen. The fabric is hard and noisy to sleep under. Pillow slips are rough to sleep on. Nothing like the quality of the sheets I am still using that I bought just two years ago. I also had a problem with a set of percale sheets, and ended up just not using them. I am finished with Sheridan, and will be looking around for other quality sheets when I am ready to purchase more. Very sad to see such a good company evidently make short cuts for profit that affect the quality.

Scratchy expensive sheets – Purchased these sheets 500tc Sateen, washed them prior to use as instructed on the label. Used them and found them to be terribly scratchy. Sheridan not interested, says it's not a fault. So 500tc means 500 terribly crappy. Dave's wife.

I pushed back about the "not a fault" and Sheridan has now given me a Gift Card for the price of the sheets. So I can buy some more sheets. I am now happy with this result.
