Opened a set of queen sized sheets new from the packet received as an early present just prior to Christmas. Right from opening - and worsening with every wash - long thin strands are coming from the elastic. I contacted Sheridan about this fault and was told that it is normal wear and tear and that washing it in cold water contributed to the problem.
Sheridan used to be a good brand. I had used them over 40 years. They are no longer worth considering. I am now an ex customer.
Thought I’d found my unicorn sheet set – I love the crisp feel and sound of this sheet set, they’re cool but also warm for QLD winter and super comfortable to sleep in! They remind me of the decent sheets you’d have on your bed as a child. Husbands sweat stains wash right out, the only negative is even though I follow the 40degree wash instructions on the tag, the sides of the fitted sheet seem shorter after every wash. Love that they have the top/bottom tag.

Rough scratchy sheets – Was told the sheets would soften after a few washes but they haven't at all. Very rough feel on the skin. Followed their care instructions but fitted sheet seems to have shrunk and barely fits the bed now. A poor buy at any price.

Disappointed Huge Amount Of Shrinkage – Was looking for the cool smooth feel of percale. These sheets are noisy, crisp and quite crushed after washing even with a low rpm spin and careful shake out and folded dry. Wanted to have a tad of luxury on the bed but now can't get the sheet on an ordinary qs bed without someone to help. That someone is a strong male who also struggles. Think it will only be a matter of time before the sheet is torn.
