OK I GUESS – Follow up since the rubber ring was removed, no issues at all, no fault messages. Cleans fine. I have changed the star rating. Still does the same job as my 2nd dish was which was half the price. I have noticed the plastic has come away from one of the prongs on the middle rack, or the glasses rack. It is now rusting badly. One thing we have noticed, as it us a touch panel, if you lean on it, it sometimes turns itself off. Not often but it does happen

Finally a service guy (not from siemens), pulled the dish washer apart and found a rubber ring blocking the drain pipe. He said it has been there since day 1. Since having it removed we have had no issues.

Keeps coming up with error messages. Does not clean as well as l thought. Is no better than my second disher which was half the price a Fisher & Paykel. Talk about disappointment. Randomly comes up with a E24 fault code, it runs fine for a month or 2 then you need to run it twice on occasion 3 times to finish the cycle. It may use less water and energy than our second dishwasher but for twice the price it does a no better job. Matter of fact its a hassle some times. Its 3 years old!! When this one dies l will not get another Siemens.

Awesome machine – Only one criticism of this dishwasher is the stainless steel finish on the door, it marks very easily with fingerprints etc, I wipe it over with a damp soft cloth but the marks seem to still be there. I will purchase some stainless steel cleaner and see if that helps, I didn’t seem to have that problem with the Bosch I replaced. On the positive side it runs rings around the Bosch for performance- I mainly use the 1 hr cycle and the dishes are clean and dry when I unload, the Bosch washed well but dishes always needed to be dried with a tea towel even on the almost 3 hour cycle. I also have the Siemens washing machine which has been used daily for over 5 years without missing a beat. I am super pleased I purchased the Siemens dishwasher- Thankyou Siemens.
