Good quiet dishwasher but no reset – Like others have found, this dishwasher is reliable, quiet and washes well. We’ve had it running daily for 5+ years. But every now and then it encounters a fault but refuses to disclose what that fault is. Siemens (like so many German car & appliance manufacturers) assumes only a Siemens-trained technician ought be ‘allowed’ to perform even the simplest functions on the machine. Every now and then machine just flashes display and won’t run any cycle. One then needs to spend 30min finding a non-scam version of the manual online to re-learn the ‘secret’ button-press combo to achieve a reset of the machine. One would think the ‘Right to Repair’ movement out of EU would forced Siemens to put a reset button on front panel. Or they could have put the instruction on a sticky label on hidden edge of door, where they placed an ad for Finish German dishwashing tablets. Btw, if you try to use a small amount of dishwashing liquid, dishwasher will pump sudsy water all over your floor. I tried it to get away from the Ethyl-benzoates added to dishwasher tablets which aid streak-free drying, but leave poisons over your eating surfaces. You can’t add an extra rinse to cycle. And if you do a separate rinse, you can’t add a ‘dry’ cycle, as no option. So is our main home $1800 Siemens dishwasher ‘better’ than our $500 dishwasher or our Aldi $400 dishwasher in other locations? Probably not! All dishwashers exhibit failings over 5-15 years, all require model-specific parts that are expensive, hard to source and hard to install… so like most vehicles, have to be viewed as ‘not worth repairing’ after a modest life.

Easy to use, quiet and performs well – We installed this fully integrated dishwasher as part of our new kitchen in mid 2017. Easy to use, quiet and performs well. Spacious and useful internal layout. Light display onto the floor with the remaining wash time is a nice touch. Have had two service calls when we could not start the dishwasher cycle but no specific problem with the machine or its connection was found. Siemens service response was good. Otherwise very pleased with this quiet and efficient dishwasher.

Sleek, works well, cool blue lights, clock timer projects onto floor – We installed this integrated dishwasher as part of our kitchen reno in 2015/16 and are very happy with it. It washes dishes well, is quiet and reliable. It is well designed internally and fits a lot of dishes - really like the 3rd top cutlery pull out rack. Also really like how it projects a light onto the floor with remaining wash time - very cool and useful to know. The neon blue light inside the dishwasher is a nice touch. Stylish and well designed and works as it should. Recommend this dishwasher - I think the equivalent model in 2018 is the IQ700.

Amazing dishwasher, super quiet and cleans to perfection – We are very happy with our new dishwasher. I bought the fully integrated unit for a sleek finish. The controls are easy to use and you can barely hear the machine working. The washing cycles are also very good, covering most of washing needs. Washing and drying performance is outstanding. Stop searching any further, this is a great machine covered by 5 years warranty.
There is a solenoid valve just after the water tap (mains connection), which adds another layer of protection in case on hose rupture. If there is water flow without been requested by the machine, the valve shuts and avoid a kitchen flood. The noise absorbing materials around the machine is great, high density stuff.
