Very Very Disappointed – I had a Siemens dishwasher for 13 years and when operating, was as quiet as a mouse. It was perfect. Unfortunately it packed it in. program. No other dishwasher that I know of does that. Rang Bosch and the lady said its modern technology and its the same with a washing machine. Huh! Also spoke to another lady at Bosch and she said to turn the rinse aid dispenser off to stop the noise but it would affect drying. That defeats the whole purpose of the dishwasher. For optimum results you need to use rinse aid. Also, on the Siemens site it says, the dishwasher is extremely quiet. Well mine is not. The guy who I bought if from said that it shouldn't be doing it and to get a replacement because that is a fault. If you have an open plan living area, do not buy this dishwasher. I will never recommend this dishwasher to family or friends. I did not pay for a dishwasher to get installed, then having to turn off the rinse aid dispenser.
