siemens after a dishwasher repairman suggested we look at bosch or siemens .this is so quiet you cant hear it at all, it washes really well and dries everthing except some plastics. it finally failled the heat pump the other day and i rang siemens and had a call from a local repairer next day .Hard water in our area is tough on appliances , especially heater elements, which is what failed . To dismantle this and renew the heat pump took no time and at no cost to us i was impressed . The five year warranty was a big selling point to us and has proven to be the real deal. After using the cuttlery drawer we wont own a dishwasher without one again and the way you can raise or lower the middle drawer is a real asset when you need to fit big trays or pans in the bottom .There are mumblings in the kitchen about a siemens induction cooktop now! Great stuff siemens!

Waste of money Don't buy a Siemens they are a rip off – I purchased this dishwasher for $1500 about 6 weeks ago from the Winning Appliance store at Indoorpilly. Most expensive dishwasher I have ever purchased and it has broken down already. working apparently. I could not believe it. Of course, it was highly recommended by the store. I had a dishwasher I paid $500 for and it lasted for years without any issues. Don't pay big bucks for items. I thought I was buying a top shelf item. Very very disappointing. We were told this item had a 5-year warranty. It is a joke. Not worth the paper it is written on. Will be taking this further.
