Siemens washing machine – Excellent washing machine. So happy I decided to purchase it. Best washing machine I have ever owned Show reply
Siemens IQ700 – I have owned our siemens coming up 12 years, I have 1 con with the machine, we had a conventional dryer and the moisture effects the control panel, it wouldn't change water temp, spin speed etc even with using an exhaust fan. Other than that the machine has been the best I've ever had, unfortunately it has started to glitch on the spin cycle, the… Read more · 1
water doesn't shut off, a few experiments, lighter loads and the problem doesn't occur. I'm currently researching for a replacement, siemens will definitely be a front runner. Well worth the initial price tag, other front loaders I've owned have not lasted more than 5 years.
Great machine & excellent service – We have had this machine for 5.5 years. We recently required a service call, which Siemens provided under warranty (despite technically being expired). Technician was excellent and the the fault - partly user error - quickly fixed. We have 4 children and run 10-12 loads/week. The machine doesn’t normally skip a beat. Great performance, and great service. Siemens do cost a little more than some, but worth it. Show details
After 4 years it does not drain – It was great washing machine until about 4 years in the drain malfunctioned. Even after cleaning the drain filter (as per support recommendation) it still failed to drain during the wash cycle. So I ran drain manually for a year as a workaround. Now in the fifth year manual drain has finally stopped working. Mould is a big issue at the back of the soap compartment. Very difficult to clean because mould is trapped in the crevices. Best Washing Machine I've ever had – After a succession of Front Loaders over the last 25 years from Gorenge Pacific, Asko, AEG and Electrolux, see review; https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/electrolux-ewf14742?page=3#reviews After giving this machine a few months to really test it, I've come to the conclusion that this Siemens iq700 is far and away the best machine that I… Read more · 1
have ever owned and used. It is extremely efficient, it washes cleaner than any other machine I've had, using a lot less water and power in the process. Clothes don't come out badly creased even after the 1400 RPM spin. The washing times are much quicker than any other machine I've had, unlike any other machine that I've owned, this one stays put, it doesn't jump around or shake around when spinning like others. The Wool cycle is very easy on my wool jumpers, socks and blankets. As other users have said this machine is so quiet that we can take advantage of cheaper off-peak power rates without disturbing the neighbours.
I'm very happy to recommend this machine and the blokes at Intercraft in Bairnsdale who gave me a great deal including free delivery.
It has been a well used appliance – I have had my Siemens iQ700 for 7 years. The first 5 and half years there were no problems, it worked well, and i was happy with the washing results. But last year it has had ongoing issues. Most frequent problem has been objects getting stuck in the filter which has required a repair man. I now need to replace it since the start button has not… Read more · 1
been working properly and the spin function has gone. It does get used a lot so 7 years of hard work for a front loader is not that bad, is it?
Good German Quality – I've had my Siemens for almost one year now and so far so good. I especially like how quiet it is, even at full spin, which is one of the main reasons I bought this model. It washes my clothes well as long as you don't add too much detergent, which can cause too much suds. Show details · 1
Extremely bad design – Front sealing ring: home for mould and slime. Two enclosed areas, poor design, wet and a breeding ground for mould, impossible to clean. Contact with this area, stains and rewash!!!! Show details

Best in its Class, it’s a Siemens... Enough said right? – Bought this from Retravision a few months ago. Absolutely love it. I’ve had other brands like F+P, LG, Samsung and nothing compares with it. It’s super silent, wash quality is fantastic. Very easy to use. Very efficient on water and power. Couldn’t recommend it any more. Definitely worth the $1100 that was spent! Show details · 1
No automatic soak function? – It seems to be washing clothes well, but I can see water pooling in the drum - and I have to clean it out regularly, which is a pain. Also has no automatic soak function, which seems stupid for a brand new washer in 2018... The manual literally says to press pause after 10 minutes. Stupid. Show details

Seimens front loading washing machine – 4 year warranty German made Great quality Works great I actually bought this washing machine because it's made in Germany and the 4 year warranty. Before getting this I had a brand that I cannot think of its name, but it didn't wash very well and was very loud. Extremely happy with my purchase. Show details · 1
Its a Siemens – As a professional, Ive always recommended to my clients, Siemens or Bosch. Why! They come from the same factory. + German quality and design, not to forget water and power consumption. Which in the long run is important and cheaper. For myself I have always used either brand. When arriving home to Australia, I had an opportunity to buy a … Read more · 1
Siemens front loader washer and dryer. Easy to use. very quite, especially when using at night time. Plus the 30 C wash temperature, which is important and perfect! Highly recommend, for me just as good as Miele, but without the price tag....
Perfect washing machine - does the job – Have had a SIEMENS before, but this one is great - the functions are easy to understand, and doesn't make too much loud either. The sensorfresh thing is a bit unusual and doens't always work but I put in jeans and it got rid of smokey smell. Would recommend to others looking for a good priced washing machine. Show details · 1
Find out how Siemens iQ700 WM14W440AU compares to other Front Loading Washing Machines
Know better, choose better.
Excellent front loader – I always thought Siemens were too expensive but this front loader is excellent value for money especially for German built quality and design. It was just over half the price of my previous Miele. It washes really well and is incredibly quiet. I was worried that the wash cycles would be too long but most are around 1 hour but you have Super Quick at 15 mins as well. Highly recommend E & S Trading on service and price. Show details
Great machine – Our Siemens front loader is a fantastic appliance, and very very quiet! I also love the song that plays after every load. The only feature that I miss is the 30 C wash temperature... 20C is just too cold and 40C is too warm for some fabrics! Otherwise no complaints. Show details · 1
Fantastic machine – Washes really well...much better than the Fisher and Paykle front loader we used recently in a holiday apartment. Very quiet. Only conplaint is due to user error I found the instruction manual to be very confusing and it took me several weeks to figure out how to wash a cold load and shrunk a favourite dress in the process! I love that I can… Read more · 1
pause and add clothes that have been missed. This machine is used on average 2 loads a day 7 days a week and has not missed a beat since purchase.
Worst washing machine we have owned! – Worst washing machine we have ever had! Will not spin many of our loads especially when using quick wash or easycare cycle so we have to put on rinse and spin cycle to finish! A load with three towels and two face washers and few other items no hope of spinning! Had technician look at machine when in warranty but no fix! Cannot wait to replace this expensive lemon. Apartment living cupboard laundry – Recently purchased my Siemens front loader from Appliance Online . Most efficient machine I've ever used, and so quiet. The best part is how it washes my woollen jumpers ,they came out perfect,I'll never hand wash again .The spin speed can be adjusted and also the water temp, Being able to time your wash according to type, light soiled or heavy,… Read more · 1
speed perfect setting only takes 1hr.
I've always had a front loader but paying a bit extra this time was well worth it.
Take the time to read the instructions for changing temp ,speed etc .simple and straightforward
I use liquid wash and softener for towels, good results .
Converted From Top Loader to Great German Built Front Load Washing Machine – Just over 2 years ago I purchased my second Fisher & Paykel top loader after having previous one for 15 years. Well the new F&P 10kg cleansmart, biggest piece of expensive rubbish I have ever bought- it certainly didnt clean let alone 'clean smart'!! After being tipped over the edge with dreadful washing outcomes I returned to Winning Appliances… Read more · 1
Newcastle to seek advice about a new machine. Have I never really liked front loaders used in holidays places but this Siemens washer was suggested as something worth considering. So glad I now am happy owner of a front loader . The good points:
German built - not cheap quality asian built like most brands these days.
5 year warranty - fantastic
One of the best things it has a 15 minute quick cycle - fantastic for small loads of gym clothes, dresses etc that just need quick wash. A lot of front loaders take forever to wash a light load!
Can pause a wash and add items to cycle AFTER it is in progress
Very easy to operate dial control , clear and easy to understand LCD display panel- unlike other front loaders I have used,
Very quiet
Energy and water efficienct,
20ml of my Adairs Mercer &Reid washing detergent is all that is needed to have my clothes and towels clean and fresh smelling.
Best thing is, my clothes dont come out needing to be unwound from other items and screwed up in tight knots like my F&P top loader did.
Iam liking my 8kg machine big enough for a quilt cover, but economical to do frequent small loads daily if I wish due to short cycle features and low power and water consumption, heaps better economy than big top loader.
When cycle complete I open the door and my tshirts and underwear dont come out tied together, a gentle shake just needed, creases are reduced, my clothes and I much happier with our new Siemens Front Loader.
The other thing...I highly recommend purchasing from Winning Appliances. Best price, advice, service, FREE DELIVERY and installation and they take away your old washer.
I bought a front load metal washer stand which elevates the front loader and has a lockable storage cabinet underneath, little tip from Winnings which is great as reduces bending down to put clothes in and out of machine.
