Excellent – really happy with it- great value for money and quiet and reliable. If you like to wash your lingerie in washing bag in machine its great and clothes don't get worn out in it unlike top loaders. very quiet and gentle on clothes. Have had it over 3 yrs and its been fantastic. clothes come out very dry so take no time to dry in drier, quick on line , clothes horse inside even works. door is small so can be hard to get clothes out. takes a long time to wash- but front loaders take longer than top loaders and I wouldn't buy another top loader.

Good – Overall it isn't a bad machine the thing I find for myself is that it is not big enough, Simpson need to make a bigger model an 8kg would be great. If they did this, had quicker wash times, and fixed the the other small problems, I would buy it. I am on the lookout for a new machine simply for the fact that it is not big enough for our family, cause I can't wash every day (maybe if it had a delay start I wouldn't have to, but then it would have electical components and thats when they start to get more expensive and more things can go wrong. I am thinking about a top loader, but there are so many bad comments about most of them I really don't know anymore??? If you have a fairly new machine and are reading this please do a review, so I and everyone else know what to or what not to buy. Washes great (just don't over load or it won't get the dirt off all your clothes), can do any washing on the synthetics fast wash (takes about 45 mins) and still has excellent results. It has Variable spin speeds, although preset, you can choose to reduce the spin speed on most wash cycles. Max spin is 1000rpm which is great for towels etc. Has 7 different washes incl a wool wash, delicates, whites, synthetics, colours & two of them have a pre wash (for really dirty clothes), it has two detergent and a softener dispenser. You get to choose what temp to wash at, and it gives you the temp range you should use for each different wash. The door can't be opened once it has started by little hands. Great for small spaces and a dryer can be put on top. Has a AAAA water rating and a 3 star energy rating. The wash is quiet, and the spin although louder is not noisy, and does not wake my sleeping kids up with their rooms next door. Have had it over 3 years and no mechanical probs. There are four things that I don't like about it. 1. Your not suppose to open the door once it has started to add that sox you just found on the floor, it says it may affect the cycle (I have done it right at the begining of a wash, but you have to turn the machine off, wait 2 mins for the door to unlock, then once I put the item in, closed the door and turned it back on, it continued washing. 2. The normal coton/colours cycles take nearly 2 1/2 hours, and when you have two young kids and work so many a days a week, you really don't have that much time to wait, that is why I wash everything on the synthetic fast wash. Which although it works well, I then have to do the fast spin on towels etc. And I think why have a machine with 7 different washes if I don't use them because it takes so long. 3. The door doesn't open all the way around, which can be annoying sometimes, and may be a problem in small laundries.
