oven comes on on its own and after a while switches off

It may be the element for the oven (one on the bottom) or the thermostat that controls cooking temp. Also, try isolating power and see if red light goes away. Go to your meter box and turn off breaker for the oven. Whilst its off, go to oven and turn on oven knob or grill, doesnt matter which. This will discharge any power in the main board. Turn it off again, go back to meter box and reset the breaker to On. Go and try oven again. I doubt this will work but worth the try to clear its memory first. If its the main oven board, buy another oven it will be cheaper. I got sick of replacing elements constantly and pulled this oven out

Does anybody know if this oven is hardwired or not, and if so what is the connected load in KW?
We have bought a replacement, can't wait to take it down the tip.
