Singer 14HD854

1 star rating was generous for Singer 14HD854 – This machine deserves a 0 rating. It is absolutely useless. Thread breaks continuously, skips stitches and needles become burred in no time. When I replace the needle it works fine.... for about 10 cm and then starts skipping stitches again. I've spent almost all of today trying unsuccessfully to get it right. Just about ready to throw it. I do a lot of sewing so I bought the heavy duty model but it has been a total waste of money.
