Singer Futura

Excellent – It is a great machine for entry into embroidery machines, priced really good. Great to use, never had a problem It is a great machine, embroidery is tops. Easy to use

Bad – OK machine once bobbin & case replaced with updated unit. Software has its faults, but it does not cost as much as other brands either...you get what you pay for. usb. Had lots of problems with the bobbin & case (noisy & erratic), only fixed by replacement with "new" design bobbin & case assembly. Now sews/embroiders ok. Futura software does not like MS Windows updates, certain secruity updates will stop the Futura program from opening. Autopunch is poor quality software, will only work on .wmf file types, which is not explained by the dealer/seller (you will find it in the fine print in the manual). Futura software isn't designed for Vista, will only work after a lot of "workarounds", seems to be ok with XP Pro.
