Perfect for BBQ area – I have bought 2 Sirius rangehoods for my kitchen and butler's kitchen last year. I won't choose any other product for rangehood for the one reason: quality, ease of cleaning and maintenance. The filter can be washed in dishwasher or just soak in hot soapy water. powerful 900mm rangehood – I bought this as a kitchen rangehood because it has one of the highest extraction rates for a 900mm rangehood. frying steaks with this rangehood on setting 4 will leave the kitchen completely odourless, so it definitely does its job well. I'm quite happy with it overall.

Update: After almost 5 years of good use the motors started being quite noisy so I submitted a warranty claim. I've had nothing but trouble since - they use this subcontractor called Sydney Rangehoods who seem to think taking apart the rangehood and screwing it back together with half the screws is acceptable. On top of that, 2 new motors were originally sent for replacement. One of them wasn't spinning properly so a third motor was sent to replace that. This third motor didn't even last one minute before it made an awful grinding noise and then decided to stop spinning completely. I'm still waiting to get this motor replaced again while I am stuck with a half working rangehood.

Overall the rangehood was good while it was new and working, but after sales is completely hopeless.

Perfect Outdoor Rangehood – This rangehood is perfect for our outdoor entertainment area. It is relatively quiet compared to other outdoor rangehoods and relatively simply to clean and maintain. Would happily recommend this product.  Show reply

Fits the purpose – This range hood is ideal fit for a BBQ on our, part enclosed, deck.The all stainless steel filters feel strong enough to withstand regular cleaning. Buying at retailer on special made it a very good buy.
