SJS Personal Power Pack Jump Starter SJS1500 (1500Amp)

Owned for 2 years. I have used this jump starter a number of times on small engines and my 4 litre petrol V6. It has worked perfectly and is very easy to operate.

The inlet power connection on the device broke off when I tried to plug it in, since its past its 1 year warranty I pulled it apart and its no wonder it broke. Its now useless. Very poor design and wouldn't recommend.

Mine is fine – I bought mine four years ago second hand and it's still works perfectly I also have a car charger that goes into the cigarette lighter Show details

My battery boost very handy – I have had my battery booster for 2 years , leave it under seat in car plugged in. Have used 3 times to start cars with flat battery, 80 series Diesel no worries, currently travelling and I use as a power source for my phone. I am happy with mine but when not in use it is always plugged into a power source. Show details

Wast of Money – Never ever worked. Had several flat batteries. Would hardly crank the engine over. Took it back to retailer asked him to send to manufacturer to test. Came back week later said they had checked in store and worked fine. Told me to disconnect terminal to battery to start as the battery would drain the power supply. Never used again just junk. Show details

Don't waste your money – Bought about 2 years ago worked great for about 12 months, ran flat while in rear of 4wd so got it out and charged it fully, back to zero % within a cpl hours without even using it, now useless and disposed of. Show details

Rubbish – Purchased 3 years ago always kept in its bag and charged it about 6 monthly, took it out of my vehicle yesterday to top up charge only to find that battery had swollen about 12 cm and cracked the casing. Was a complete waste of $200 and I now have to dispose Lithium Battery

Sjs1500 – Absolute garbage bought from Autobahn Nowra was faulty from day one they recommended it and it does not do what it’s advertised as 4.2 diesel/7.0ltr petrol they do not want to know about it even after I demanded a refund would highly recommend do not purchase this useless piece of $240 garbage

Handy for out and about – I bought this as a backup jumpstarter for my car. However, it's charger and flashlight function also came really handy. This jumpstarter has two USB ports and more importantly wireless charger, I can plug in my phone/ipad and a light at the same time to work on my project/play games on the phone. I think it's quite a useful thing to have at home or car while camping, in case of emergency . Would definitely recommend this product Show details

Too expensive for how long it lasts – I got the 1200Amp one but the quality should be similar across their range. Works as advertised but swells up after 12 months even when stored and treated properly. Show details

Not a problem – Bought this jump starter 6 months ago. After initial charge it was not used for 5 months when it was still showing 97% and jump started my Kia Pregio immediately. Can't understand the negative reviews as I can only say that I found it worked perfectly for me. Show details

Great unit - has jump-started multiple vehicles including a V8 LandCruiser – I've had mine for 3 years and possibly jump-started as many as 7 vehicles it - including a V8 LandCruiser. highly recommend it.

Mine includes the tyre pump, but it is VERY slow so you'd only want to use it in emergencies. (So probably not worth the extra they charge for it now)

Rubbish – Bought this from sprint auto parts to put behind my seat in my diesel ute just in case. 79% don’t buy this crap.and yes I had taken it back and was told 12 month warranty was up and basically bud luck.

We have tried to use this item three times and each time has lost charge.Lucky we have inverter – purchase power pack for travelling in remote areas on way to Cape. We have tried to use 3 times each time wouldn’t start our Toyota even at 80 percent charge. Discharged While in Glovebox – I found that I would have to recharge the sjs 1500 at least monthly as it would lose charge at the rate of 1% per day. have no power points around??? Will do a lot more research for my next one. What good is a jump starter if you need another charger to keep it charged? Cannot recommend this product.

SJS 1200 Jump Starter – Less than 2 years old used half a dozen times, now will not charge. Distributer refuses to answer emails. Supplier Autopro give standard 12 month warranty reply. Have lodged complaint with consumer protection as this emergency item nearly caused the loss of a car on an in coming tide. Suggest others do the same. Show details
