Crap product, does not hold a charge – Paid a lot of money thinking this would be very handy. Not the case. It does not hold a charge so when you need it, you need to charge for hours to get it back to 100% before it may work. Daughter's car is stranded this evening as it wouldn't start. Wasre of money – . Absolute rubbish. Like most other comments never works when required. Wont hold charge and when charged wouldn't start my v8 200 series as it was supposed to do. I had to leave it plugged in to maintain it charge an now it was exploded, split the case in two and is twice its original size. DON'T WAST YOUR MONEY.

a car that has been sitting parked for many months at a time.

The sjs battery has been charged about 6 times using the SAPB15015AUL AC/DC power adapter wall charger. It holds its charge really well.

When charging it up, the blue LED flash and then they are all solidly illuminated when it is fully charged IIRC.

Last night I decided to fully charge it because I pressed the round button once and it shows 4 out of 5 blue LED, so plugged in the supplied 15volt, 1amp SAPB15015AUL AC/DC power adapter wall charger.

I suspect that has stopped working because there isn't the flashing LED to indicate charging.

Many hours later I checked using the round button and it is still 4 out of 5 LED illuminated.

I will contact SJS to check if there has been any reported issues with that AC/DC power adapter charger part? I think it would be easy to replace.

If anyone has the same issue then contact SJS, I will also check if I can charge the SJS Jumpstart battery using the cigarette lighter adapter, as it is part of the product. I also need to check if there is a reset electronics button on this.

Still happy, 4.5 stars from me.

Excellent but beware of safety hazard – This charger has got me out of many flat battery starting issues, and holds its charge for ages. However, when the 'jumper leads' are connected, even with the switch OFF, touching the clamps together will produce severe sparking. so don't just toss it into the vehicle with the leads attached!

great jump starter – Great product, got me out of trouble with flat batteries many times, also good to top up phone, would highly recommend it to anyone with a car, also ran my laptop off it once when i had no power and need to check emails. must have product A++++++ product much better than the smaller ones on the market that only just start your car

Waste of money – The first one I got failed immediately. I got it replaced. I got this as it stated it would jump start a 4.5l diesal, plenty of power for my car, a 2.5l petrol. Didn't start that when needed. Wouldn't start a 1.6l petrol engine. The only car this unit just manage to start was an old 1.3l beetle. What a waste of money and resources  Show details

Absolute rubbish – We have 12 sjs packs. They do not work at all. Out of 54 jumps attempts on different vehicles 4 worked. When talking to the receptionist she is rude and the owner [Name Removed] will rarely get back to you and when he finally does will not help and hang up on you like a baby. worth having. We have over 70 videos of these things not working which I will post online or send to you if your interested. Being that these guys are impossible to deal with I will be taking them to fair trade and court if required. there is nothing wrong with it, and gave me back the same one. When I asked both manufacturer/Retailer may I be provided with the with the dates and test results, I was told they did not hold any documentation kept to be reviewed and that my serial number was a common number. so it couldn’t be traced, Funny that...

Jumper Leads – It's a good product spoilt by poorly engineered jumper leads. The pivot point on the spring loaded alligator clips are too weak for the spring and broke after very little use. Show details

Piece of Crap that didn't even work the first time – My car would turn over but wouldn't start. I thought I might have left an overhead light on. This jumper said 100%. iPad was at 84 percent battery box 14 percent and dropping very fast. Don’t waste your money they are lemons I just wish I had done my homework before I purchase mine . Kickass battery box looks to be the go.

Not worth what they charged – Didn’t start a small Diesel engine and was dead shortly after the warranty period. I charged it religiously every month and kept it in a good environment.. SJS 06D2 Lemon – As per the other reviews, got one kick start out of it, fully charged, after the initial kick start would never give a green light. An expensive lemon, no wonder they are no longer available. Guys at battery world are aware of its faults as they have had all that were sold brought back.

torchlight while on charge, remove charger lead and nothing. Quite disappointed as I had been an advocate for these SJS units, no longer have confidence in it. Same with unit we bought for son, although his didn’t get treated well, and it’s only 11 months old. ☹️

Very poor performance, does not work – Purchased late last year from Battery world, Salesman said it would jump start 7 4X4 batteries before it needs recharging. Initially it started one vehicle twice in a row, and every time after that it struggled to start once and now it won't start one vehicle. It is the most expensive "phone charger" i have every bought cause that's all it's good for..

have to return the whole kit at a cost to me of $15 for a post pack. Nice. I am wondering how many lots of $15 this exercise is going to cost me. Grrr!!

Useful purchase – i bought the 600amp one for when we go away but when the tractor had a flat battery we thought we would try out this unit it to see it would work - and it did. it worked easily and only used half of the unit charge after 3 attempts to start it - so still plenty of power left in the unit to charge other devices when required. Very useful in deed.

so powerful – these starters are so impressive. can start large diesels and small motors easily. I had an issue and their service people quickly sorted the problem. Reccomend to everyone you need one in your house/ car. It will hold a charge for months. Can use as a torch, emergency light or re charge phones and laptops.

Lasted for 5 months – It was good when new, Bought it 5 months ago used it less than 10 times then It only jumpstart once then it would need a full recharge before working again. tried to return the product to the shop they told me warranty won't cover it with no receipt. So be warned product not reliable

Great product and quick delivery – Great product and quick delivery. Very pleased with everything about this purchase, as I needed a starter for my Motorhome which we are planning to take a long trip for 6 months or more around Australia. My Motorhome has a 3.5 litre Diesel engine, so this will get me out of trouble.

had given 5/stars BUT – I have had my charger for around a year and half and as much as it was awesome now I charge it and it doesn't hold charge, am Disappointed because its over a year there is no warranty , am going to contact them via their website to see if anything can be done

Was great all round charger but only lasted a few months now completely deadI – Was easy to use and very powerful. Only lasted a few months but now is dead. Not worth the purchase. Csme in a hard plastic case with all the cables, accessories and connectors to suit a range of charging needs. I had previously given this 5 stars and a great review but the units are faulty and only last a few months and now won't hold charge anymore. Of course its out of warranty so I've done my dough. Would not recommend buying this model.
