Smeg Hand Blender Questions & Answers
VerifiedI just opened my smog hand blender with accessories. I went to watch a video with instructions on how to use it and they showed a masher and on the video they were mashing potatoes and butternut squash. Mine didn't come with the masher. Are you able to send me one? Thank you.
Hi sheri, The hand blender no longer comes with the potato masher accessory. external link Regards Smeg
Hi I purched a lovely cream SMEG HBF22CREU Hand Blender, 2 moths ago and it's been a great addition. Unfortunately my wife didn't know the Blender lid could be washed in the dishwasher. It's now full of water and I can see any means to drain without damaging the case. Is there any way that the case can be separated?
In 2020, I purchased the SMEG stick blender in a lovely powder blue. To date, I’ve been unable to justify this purchase as I need to use both hands to keep the parts from disjointing and making a huge mess. (Have had to clean up several messes). I would love to use this more but, I can’t say this is a product worth the money.
Have also had issues with my SMEG stand mixer which I’ve only had about 5 years and today, I went to bake a cake to celebrate end of school year for my son and, the batter got filled with metallic parts from the mixing bowl and the grinding sound was unbearable. I reluctantly grabbed the stick blender to use the whisk attachment and it was disastrous! I also own a SMEG espresso maker, 4 slot toaster, kettle and blender and have no issues with any of those items. I live to bake and love having my SMEG blender displayed in my kitchen but I don’t know this will be the case anymore. The cost to repair my stand mixer would be too high and, it should certainly last more than 6 years! Sorely disappointed.

UPDATING my review to say I am a long-time SMEG customer and this was my first time having an issue - it just happened to be for two products at the same time. The team at SMEG customer service have been great at looking into the issues with the stick blender and stand mixer. Very happy with their customer service.

I used this set for the first time last night. This morning I found the lid/motor is full of water. The instructions to not submerge the lid in water I then discovered written on the underside of the lid but in the same colour as the lid so they are virtually unreadable.
I am so upset as I assume this means the set is now ruined. Is there a way to replace just the lid?
I would also like to suggest that the warning be FAR more visible on the lid as I can see multiple people have had the same issue.
