This Range Hood was Purchased to replace another SMEG Range Hood which would have been in Service for 20 years ..... It was Rubbish .... Sadly I had to continue to Install it but discovered the Device was Plastic & the Thinnest "Stainless" Steel making it flex regardless of the number of screws installed . In addition , The Installation itself was PAINFUL . The Flue securing was NOT though through for the INSTALLERS & was ill fitting & a Bodgey deal .... I Bought it without consulting the Industry ..... I Premium Brand I thought ..... Waste of Money ..... There are more expensive Models in the Range .... But this was so bad I would never consider the Brand again ....

So loud, doesn't actually help with anything – It doesn't reduce steam or anything and all it does it make a loud noise. The lights are handy over the stovetop but that's about it. I get asked to turn it off as soon as I put it on if the tv is being watched in the other room as they can't hear a thing. Really disappointed as I thought Smeg was meant to be a superior brand.. builder recommended. I do not.
