Hate it with a passion – This is the worst dishwasher I’ve ever encountered. I curse it every time I have to stack it. Nothing stands up in it because the stacking racks are useless for a range of plates and bowls. Even drinking tumblers won’t stay upright. The cutlery basket allows the cutlery to lean out and get jammed against the side when closing it. There is nothing good to say about the product. I would never buy any Smeg product based on my experience with this dishwasher.

PC Board Issue – Same problem as everybody else writing a review about this product. First issue was that the pump was broken so we got it fixed and then a month later they tell us that it is now a PC Board issue - $650 for the PC Board and Labour on top of that another $150. All up $800 to fix - will be purchasing a new dishwasher that is not a SMEG.

Absolute Lemon – We purchased a dishwasher in Smeg Package Oven Hotplates & Dishwasher. All items hardly used. We can count the number of times as house has been vacant for 3 Years. Tried to use the Dishwasher, all cycles work however it will not switch off. Needs new control board $650.00 plus installation. Will not recommend Smeg products to anyone if this is typical of Smeg appliances. Nothing Good Would not switch off.
Bit of a problem – The machine has broken down and leaks. It start, goes through a couple of steps and stops for no reason. When I bought the house it was installed and was about 3 years old. now when it is 6 years old the machine has stopped for no reason. I thought I got a quality item as there over $1200 to buy and my cheap one that I use now has gone longer. Bit disappointing.
Agreed. I would not recommend this machine either Mine came with the apartment less than 5 years ago and has recently broken down. It keeps cycling without stopping. Apparently the computer is not repairable and expensive to replace.
its 6 years old what do you expect.........go buy a new one
thanks we bought a house with a 20 year miele that just broke down -and I would expect a dishwasher to last more than 6 years
