Loved it and miss it – Tonight, this air fryer sadly died after being used nearly everyday for 4 years. It served us amazingly and will be missed. We cooked everything in it and I'll be off to the shops tomorrow to buy a new one. Easy to cook with and clean, and it cooked pork belly to perfection. Show details
Junk – Smith and Noble products are junk. Elements burn out after a short while. No replacement parts are available. When working they are great just not a reliable product. Good idea poorly executed. Show details
Quicker in a conventional oven – I bought this for my parents in law for Christmas last year, but they had never used it and gave it back to me to use. I tried to cook crumbed chicken pieces. After 45 minutes or so the crumbs still hadn't browned and the chicken was still raw in the middle. I put the pieces on for a further 15 minutes but they still weren't done after this, so I… Read more
then transferred them to an oven tray & cooked them in my oven. Next I tried to cook hot chips. I followed the instructions for fries but they were still not cooked after the stated time, and after a further 10 minutes, the chips were pale & soggy. Very disappointing when I was hoping for crunchy crisp chips.
Will never stop using this air fryer – Loving the air fryer. Can roast a whole chicken and bake a cake in it without an issue. Easy to use and intuitive controls. Very happy with results. We were all surprised how moist it keeps the meat and crispy the chips. Super easy to clean, only need to remove the basket and wash with warm soappy water. The remaining of the fryer can be clean with a damp cloth. Show details
Hopeless. Took ages to cook, used 4 times since new then all the buttons stopped working. 3 weeks out of warranty :( – My conventional oven works better, wished I never bought it. Won’t be buying this brand again. A pain to cook in and clean and the life of it was disappointing Show details
Expensive frozen chip cooker – Have tried cooking food with not much luck . Only thing it was good at was frozen chips in the rotisserie cage , and that just broke so yeh I’m not impressed at all. Show details
Does not Work – Bought this two weeks ago from Harris Scarfe. Opened it last week and went to cook with it. Tried 4 times for the setting of the item and still did not cook it. Tried to cook chips and after 4 times round gave up. Looks like i have a Lemon. Will be returning the item. Show details
Perfect! – This air fryer is pretty awesome for all working Mums just like me. Easy and convenient to use. Bought this at Harris Scarf and on special price. I think I'm just lucky enough to have this product.
This Fryer is excellent – Very skeptical at first reading some of the bad reviews. Worried that it could be a lemon. Still went ahead and bought the unit, it has all the features and tool that we were looking for . Looked at many units, most had flaws. This unit has performed beyond expectation . Need to work out cooking times and temperatures. My wife yesterday cook… Read more
salmon. The skin was crisp and the flesh was soft and moist , no grease . cooked pork chops today. The chops came out perfect, with no grease . No hesitation in recommending this fryer .
This was fine for 13 months!! – Bought this from Harris Scarf 13 months ago. It worked great till it died. It was almost $200 at the time and I don't mind paying good money but when it craps itself after 13 months it is NOT worth buying. Unless it has 24 or 36 months warranty I would avoid this manufacturer at all cost. Show details
Does Everything You Can Imagine – We were always sceptical with the whole air fryer craze, my father originally purchased this and had cooked anything and everything in it, it all tasted great. So we finally decided to purchase one and I'm so glad we did. The food tastes no different to how you would normally cook it (without the mess) although at times it has taken some trial and… Read more
error to get right, once you do, then its no worries from there. We have done everything from chicken, to roasts to cakes. It comes with an awesome array of accessories for the built in rotisserie including a cage for frozen chips and spikes for a whole chicken. Cleaning is a breeze, as you can lift the non stick bowl out and wipe down. Being a 12L it is quite large, so ensure you have the room for it, and also ensure to remember the clip/button that holds the lid open, is pressed when wanting to close the lid, otherwise you may break it and run in to some problems. Other then that we have had no issues and would recommend to anyone, especially those with a busy lifestyle or kids, its great to put something in and let it cook away. Dont pay the RRP $400 at Harris Scarfe however, wait for a sale, we got it for $149 with a free accessorie pack (digital scales, steak rack, non stick pan) worth $129 included for free.
Waste of money – Terrible product. The coating comes off in a couple of cooks. The 4th cook the whole machine stopped working. Dont waste your money people, they might look nice and shiny but not an appliance I would recommend Show details

Know better, choose better.
Back up service is terrible – Be aware that the pin that holds the lid open will break if trying to close the lid without releasing the lock. (Easy mistake to happen) No repairs offered by Harris Scarfe as they don't keep parts. Very disappointed as we only had the use of the unit for 2 weeks. Show details
Love it – Love using this Smith and Noble Air Fryer, easy to clean, tasty foods, fast tasty chips without the fat I hardly use my oven or frying pan since I purchased this appliance - less cleaning, less electricity useage Show details
Made a huge bang, shorted out – Purchased this air fryer on friday, went to use it for the very first time and it made a huge bang and then shorted out my electricity. I tried turning it back on, but it made a funny noise and wouldn't start. Have now taken back to the store and received a refund. Show details
Good product good amounts of things to be done but slow – The airfryer is good , thanks to the connected lids , it's easier , but not compared to the regular designed ones , if you are buying this design then this is the best to buy , but compared to my old air fryer it takes longer to cook and get the similar output Show details
Not as good as thought it would be – This is perfectly adequate as air fryers go. Very happy bought it on sale though. I would be annoyed if had paid full price. Timing for cooking chooks is out and is a bit hit and miss with certain foods and there is a lot of trial and error involved but is a good size and easy to clean. Thought would get much more use than it does but fed up of having to second guess timings. Show details
Not recommended – I purchased this product went to use it and did everything I was supposed to, put my meat in a it worked. Then it made a funny noise then all I could smell was burning plastic tuned it off. Waited till it cooled down turned it back on and didn't work. Show details
Fantastic airfryer – Great fryer, heaps of space, much better than my old drawer airfryer, top opening makes it easier to use as does the see through window, although this model a bit slower than the drawer type. Easy to use and does a great job. Very easy to dismantle to wash. Love it! Show details
Happy first up but inner pot peeling badly – I did a lot of research on Air Fryers and thought a larger one was the go. A staff member recommended this air fryer so I bought it 2 months ago. I noticed on unpacking a couple of tiny marks/scratches on the inner non stick pot and thought oh well, nothing is perfect these days. And it was poor quality. It cooks ok, but still takes quite a while,… Read more
so I haven't found it to be any faster than an oven or fryer. I have cooked roasts, vegies, and chips in it accordingly to the instructions and cleaned it as the recommendation. I normally soak it in warm soapy water to make it easier, but on the 8th time I estimate, a large chunk of coating has peeled off and the water has got under the non stick coating. In the manual it states the inner pot is stainless steel and dishwasher safe? Not sure if the book is correct or mine is missing. On researching this fryer is also badged under a few other brands through Kogan and cheap sites and sells for around $100 instead of the supposed S+N $399.95. And I have to wonder with a poor non stick surface why accessories are stainless or chrome that would scratch. I have used teflon tools to avoid this. So I am returning mine next week for a refund as I can't see how a replacement would be any better. I did notice a few others have had this same issue, but have commented through other Smith + Nobel air fryers here. Update: Returned to Harris Scarfe for a prompt refund. The staff member said a few others had returned theirs for the same reason.
