New one faulty with lines down it. 3 years later power supply died. Not Good Enough Sony – 2 Faults since new Bad image lines out of the box Out of warranty and power supply died. Sony not the brand it used to be Show details
Bad TV – Lines appearing...jumping screen...right after after warranty period. Diagnostic faulty panel. What a shame. Repair is more expensive than buying a brand new one. Throwing it away and never buying this brand again. Show details
Completely went to crap after the warranty expired – The IR sensor for the remote stopped working ~ the 12 month mark, but I was able to get by using mobile phone app to control the TV. LAN port stopped working after 6 weeks, but WiFi was ok... So I didn't bother getting it fixed. Recently (3 yrs) Lines have started appearing everywhere... 1 verticle line -- this was annoying, but ok. not 8-10 verticale lines and 20+ horizontal lines... Show details

Best TV I've had yet – I bought this direct from Sony as a 'shop soiled-refurbished' item. I have been very happy with it, and being android, the ability to load programs like 'Kodi' for example, directly into the TV's operating system, so it doesn't require the extra box. The only thing I can fault on it, is the processor speed sometimes lags the controls. One thing… Read more
I will say, for it's size, it only weighs just on 20 kilos, allowing me to wall mount it easily, and, on my own..
An entertainment for the whole family Sony TV – The SONY 65 INCH 4K UHD SONY 65 INCH 4K UHD (model KD65X7000E) that we bought during a Harvey Norman X-mas sale in Dec 2017 is a value for money and suitable for a family entertainment. The picture quality, buil-in-speakers sound system with HDMI ports is easy to operate with remote control. We added Netflix to it and it is a comprehensive… Read more
entertainment for the entire family to watch sports, movies or news. We are really satisfied with this unit.
HDR, 4K and Chromcast builtin – This tv is awesome, we got the version with the speaker bar built in. The TV is able to handle 4k visuals easily. Its just a shame that at the moment there's not a lot of 4k content available, not easily anyway. It was able to handle 4k blurays with ease and HDR made the content crisper and sharper to view. Sony KD49X7000D Continual reboot issues – Have had this TV for just under 2 years (warranty length). After 6 months it started rebooting 2-3 times each day. We kept going with it until about 2 months ago when we contacted Sony after trying all their so called trouble shooting methods. We have since had a new mother board installed under warranty. That worked for 2 weeks and now we are back to square one! Rebooting again. Very frustrating. Show details
Keeps resetting – I brought this TV and it was great initially. After the first software update it started resetting every time I switched it on. I had the sony technician come out and look at it and he said the issue would be fixed in the next software update...2 years on and a lot of emails to sony later I still have the same issue, plus I have to manually enter my internet details every week as it refuses to connect to my wifi. Go buy another brand. Show details
Reboot issues – Great picture upscale great also can install 3rd party apps i watch netfix and stan only issue is reboots everyday when watching live tv or netflix seems to be right after reboots but very annoying with a eeboot every day foxtel play and no foxtel now and cannot install it but that is foxtel fault dont know why foxtel will not make android smart tvs compatible. Perfect for the Price – Very Happy with the picture output, we though have to change the picture type for movies or sports as dynamic feature doesn't work, have a Sony sound bar as the speakers are weak, have my Xbox and Apple TV connected with it works wonders, the Android TV itself is sufficient though, have many applications to enjoy this TV. Remote doesn't has the mic feature so planning to get one with mic Show details
75 inch is perfect – This TV is great and does its job! It's a good smart TV and the picture quality is still better than its older models. It was purchased at a good price. Sony make amazing TV's and the prices now are quiet affordable especially for all the newer models and 4K versions. Show details

Worth it! – I splashed on this product three months ago and it has certainly lived up to the hype. Sharpest tv I have seen and the color is very good. Hdmi works perfectly for the ps4 and have had no issues between the to so far. Only negatvie I guess you could say is the price but that's it. Show details
Can't live without it but it's not perfect – Screen Size: Perfect! System Speed: Nearly there. Latest system upgrade helped a little. Pricing: Perfect! But wouldn't mind a lower price. Picture Quality: Indeed 1080p Audio Quality: Excellent! Don't think I'll need a separate home theatre sounding system (e.g. soundbar etc.) Ports: Enough HDMI and USB ports for me. Wireless internet works just perfectly. Show details
Great tv for the price – Had confusion between Samsung and Sony but it was the best decision I have ever made. Perfect picture quality, UHD is the best in all TVs. Too many colours, I just didn't like the remote as it's really old fashioned remote as now a days there is fancy remotes available but Tv is great. Show details
Best TV ever – Very happy with this New Sony TV,has been using for last 6 months , the picture is excellent especially when watching Sports the only down side is the TV speaker , you need to purchase soundbar if you are bluray movies as sound quality is degrade apart from sound , this TV is perfecto Show details
Awesome TV! – Love the Sony HD Smart TV quality. Sony TV with the built-in Android platform is a great fit and access to applications such as Netflix, Youtube, Spotify ect. Paired with a Play Station 4, Sony Smart Tv really is everything you could want and need. Being an android platform, it has access to the latest updates for your TV. Show details
Excellent TV, Happy Overall! – TV is amazing... Outstanding picture quality, colours, blacks and brightness and sharpness all excellent... Great functionality, easy to navigate and set up, plenty on inputs... Only downside would be the Android TV sometimes runs a little slow which can be fixed by clearing the cache, but other than that, great TV! Show details

Excellent Picture, let down by operating system – The picture quality is superb, perhaps the best of this generation of TV's (opinion) However where the television fails is with the Android TV operating system, the updates are all too infrequent, the OS is two years behind the current release and Sony is very slow to release updates, control is jittery and often can freeze, it realyl lets the TV… Read more
down and it is not Google's fault, Android TV runs perfectly on the shield and Nexus, this is a sony problem that sadly will not be likely addressed.

Perfect – Perfect TV, the Picture quality is too good. Totally worth it. Initially, i was planning to buy 55 inch hisense tv but surprisingly i found the picture sound quality of this TV way too good then HiSence so on the spot I changed my mind and purchased this one. I am sure i made a right decision. Show details
Very happy with this TV – Bought this when on sale at JB Hi-Fi for $1800 and very happy with it. The resolution is very sharp and the TV performs well. Lots of apps (like Netflix) installed on the TV for ease of access. There are also enough ports for various connections like PS4 etc. At full price a bit expensive, but when on sale I think it is very good price. Show details
This is complete tv – I am 100% satisfied with all the above. Very beautiful picture and good Android system. There is more than enough ports. Very happy with most of the applications specially kodi and free apps. Also very good sound system. The best thing I like in this tv is it is very quick in changing tv channels and apps. Show details
Perfect TV – Awesome picture and audio quality and the Smart TV app is simple enough to use. No issues trying to cast from any andrioid devices and laptops/pcs. We currently connect AppleTV, chromecast and a phillips media player and I am happy to say I could customize each HDMI ports with their own picture qualities. I was initially worried about up-scaling… Read more
from a 720p to a 4k tv, however it did a decent job. 4k quality is breathtaking. So far no issues and I haven't had any problems requiring any reset so it is a 5 star for me.
Our best TV so far – This is one of our best buys. The picture quality is great.4K quality makes everything pleasant to watch. The pic quality is great. It operates just like a smart phone. It is easy to set up, has a lot of ports to connect your USB , energy efficient and big !!! Show details
Sony KD65X7500D – I like my android sony TV. You can download apps from the play store. Sound system is not that great and i am using soundbar with my sony TV. Screen mirror sharing with andriod phones and not supporting for apple iphone mirror sharing. Youtube videos can be shared from any devices. Show details
Good picture but Netflix Issue – Does perform well when it comes to the picture and sound quality but has a huge issue with netflix. Sometimes when you open the netflix app and play a video, after a few seconds the tv just drops back to the normal channels and exits netflix randomly. Tried contacting SONY about it and they said its a speed issue but it happens far too often for my liking. Better run the netflix on chromecast then the tv app. Show details
pretty epic – 4k display is great they are easy to use and the menu options are set up like a smart phone so they make sense. sometimes i have to restart when i have had a few things open and it kinda hangs. once or twice a month ive got the larger brother of it 85 inch. no problems with either. pairs with ps4 and you can use tv remotes to control ps4 as well which is cool. plus all the auto on features Show details
DONT BUY SONY TV"S – Get TV, Just when things need to be done under warranty SONY is terrible to deal with. You are not a customer your a piece of dirt on their shoe. They just delay, delay, talk to management talk some more to management.. It takes weeks to get an answer on how they will replace or refund you TV. Show details
Nice – This TV has android so can use a lot of apps such as Netflix etc. The picture quality is good and have enough ports for connect. And it doesn't seem to be too big when I hang it on the wall and watch from 3-4 meters dinner table so . Show details
Very poor software quality – EPG guide does not fully update. You have to manually surf through all channels for program guide to refresh the info. Bluetooth is locked to a limited set of devices. Won't connect to Bluetooth headphones. Even Sony ones. Not a big problem, but at this price range, tv shouldn't freeze for a couple of seconds between switching apps. Show details
Best Tv I have bought – Picture quality is excellent. Speakers sound tinny in a flat screen so I have a bose soundbar which is the cheapest of the Bose but has a very nice sound so I would recommend a soundbar with the new tv's. Has a few usb ports so all good for when need to use usb. Wifi connects easily. Apps all work easily with no effort. This is my… Read more
3rd tv in 1 year as the others would freeze and had the motherboard changed on both but had other problems still, so as were under warranty at least so i got a refund as they didn't have another to replace so used the money toward this one and was on special for January so saved more and made it affordable so I am very happy with it now and have the tv I would have liked all along but tried the cheaper ones at 1st.
Good picture but menus are a bit complex – We bought this set on 4th February 2017. Picture is good without being great (lacks the depth of plasma - our last TV). The unit's built-in speakers are adequate for news, documentaries and the like, but for movies and concerts for example we prefer to use our home theatre amp., surround speakers and sub-woofer. The unit has more than enough… Read more
ports. We have two PVRs (one incorporating a Bluray player) connected and the home theatre setup as mentioned above.
The operating system is OK. We have the TV on our local area network so we can play content which resides on our PC or the internet. The on screen menus can be a little complex but once you get the hang of them they are fairly straight forward. The one problem that we have noticed that is really annoying is this. The TV continues to list content that has long since been deleted from the hard drive on our PC. I have wiped the free space on the partitions and edited the registry but still the content is listed as available on the TV. One file that is listed was deleted months before we even purchased the TV. We bought Sony because of previous experience with the brand name. Our home theatre amp. is a Sony - 12 years old and excellent. In hindsight, based on picture quality and listing deleted files we would not buy this TV.
