For the price, more so when on sale, these are terrific with great sound. We have a couple of pairs for use around the house or on public transport and they block out enough noise (for the price) and movies and music sounds on point. They were a little troublesome connecting to Apple devices and I was forced to download the Sony app to make them connect, which I was hesitant to do after once owning a Sony DSLR that required an app which was terrible. But this app was easier to use. Wireless range is good - my kid can be at one end of the house with these headphones on while his mobile device is at the other end and he has no worries.
Great beginner headphones – I wanted to try over ear headphones for exercise. I like that this has some noise cancelling, but I still feel safe when put in traffic. The app allows me to change the sound settings, so I can have as little or as much bass as I like. I have had these for about 4 months and am still yet to charge them which is amazing for an affordable product.
Purchased in at Sony Online store for $78.
Won't last the distance – Although the headphones initially worked well and produce good sound for the price I paid, the headphones have a flaw. The little wire that runs from the headband to the actual ear cup, is likely to break at some point. This manifests itself in the headphones first losing audio on one side then sometime after the other side. After doing some research on the internet, I have found that this is most likely a common problem. I used the headphones 3-4 times a week for a few hours and they lasted 3.5 months. I have returned the faulty ones to the store and got a new pair. Time will tell if the same problem will happen again, but I suspect it will.
UPDATE Pair 2 : Same issue, headphones failed again with the same problem. Wire breaks, no sound.
Purchased in at The Good Guys for $99.
