Steelcraft Eclipse Terrain 3

Loved it but completely unhappy now I've started using it – Wobbly wheels, getting very hard to steer as it veers to one way, canopy starting to get holes in it from just sitting in boot( they won't replace as model is discontinued) I'm now stuck with a pram that is horrible and they won't replace unless sent away for 3 weeks. 6 month old+ no pram for 3 weeks= not what I paid for
Heavy, Bulky, Wobbly and did I mention heavy – Hindsight is a wonderful thing. If I was to buy another pram/capsule combo I would definitely stare clear of the steelcraft terrain. Pram is very heavy and is a struggle to fit into a sedan boot (a large boot too). The tires constantly need pumping up for some reason and the front wheel is dangerous when you need to go up or down a step. The… Read more
capsule that clicks into the pram causes our baby to sweat horrifically and it's unbelievably heavy... if you needed a c section you wouldn't be able to lift it in and out of a car for atleast 6 week's. Struggle to get through doors with pram as well... will be buying a new pram asap.
Love it – I love mine although I do find it is big and heavy. Once it's in the boot the is no room for anything else. I too have wobbly wheels but I put it down to my having to squash it in the boot of my 2 door car. I love love love the big shade canopy and basket underneath. Don't like the fact that once bub is bigger I can't take away the front bar. The… Read more
plastic kick plate on the front has taken a beating from opening and closing the pram. Id buy one again if it was not so bulky and heavy. Love the shade canopy Big bulky and heavy
Love the space – I have had my pram now for a year and love how I could have the infant carrier easily attached to my pram so bub can see you. The huge storage space under the seat and the height adjustable handle bad as I'm pretty small and my partners the opposite. I've never had a problem with the straps or connections but the front strap now I come to think… Read more
about it could be a bit longer. It is a very bulky pram and you need a lot of boot space to fit it into, it is heavy to lift but hey it helped lose the baby fat lol. The down side to the pram was the wheels, it would be good if you get them foam filled seeing it is a terrain stroller, I've ended up getting the gak in my tyres which does help a lot but every now and then can get a thorn big enough to make them go down again. The last couple of months I've had a wobbly wheel which I'm anxious about it looks like its about to fall off but it keeps going so far. I like the big foot brake on this stroller but the only down side for me now is if number two comes a long there's no toddler seat, but I have loved my stroller and so has bub. Shade canopy, comes with all the extras, comfy for bub, big storage compartment, adjustable handle bar Wobbly tyre, is a bulky pram, only good if planning on one bub
Great pram – Love this pram! The footrest lifts up under the handlebars so you can easily run with this pram even with a newborn. It's zipable basket is huge enough to hold groceries as well as a nappy bag. The tyres ensure that going over rocks or mud in the park is easy & fuss free. The seat is wide enough for big babies & looks extremely comfortable. My son… Read more
loved this pram! Large canopy. Zipable storage basket. High back for tall babies. Easy to manouver and adjust. Comfortable ride for bubs. No wheel wobbles at high speeds. Superb all round Front handle bar doesn't come off easily.
good and bad – It is a good pram, its smooth and seems comfortable for bub, great when I had the capsule that fit straight in the pram, but it is huge. I have a huge boot and with that in there theres not much else that will fit. it is heavy and the plastic bit at the front gets easily scratched when youre putting it up and down, but it is easy to put up and… Read more
down The connecter strap at the bottom is quite short as well, and I hate how you have to fit the two straps together before putting it in the connecter bit, the older eden style just connected easier. smooth, comfortable for bubs big, heavy,
MONEY WASTED, UNSAFE FOR MY BABY, – Hi, I bought from pram warehouse, I thought it was the best stroller, since my son was born until now only use the stroller twice, the straps of the arms and legs can not join, I can only use arms or legs when normally one stroller the baby has straps on the arms and legs together, the belts do not fit as it should, with a bit of weight or gravity… Read more
straps open, now my son is 6 months and try to place him in the stroller and straps are not long, (NOT LONG STRAPS AND DO NOT CLICK PROPERLY= DISASTER)
...tyres go flat all the time, the brake only works with the rear tires but no front tire. The pram looks really nice and comfy but unfortunately the features does not work as it should, I had to carry my son with baby carrier for 2 months and half and then I had to buy another stroller, I really like that BRITAX can do something, my pram is new unused. the look Straps do not click all togeter and they are short, flat , wobbly tyres ,front tyre does not have break .
Disappointed – Love the huge shade canopy, big basket, pushes nicely unless you live rural where I do and tyres are constantly popping due to thorns.. Replaced with hard pram tyres and now it's not the same. Very small crotch strap. Theres just no room to play with it even after extending to its full capacity. It's extremely tight on my son who is a little… Read more
bigger than average but he's only 9 months old.
Break has started to slip down and rubs against the wheels.
Have not even had this pram a year. Basket, shade canopy Break slips down, tyres constantly going flat, small crotch strap that needs to be made larger

Great for Outdoor Terrain – I live in a rural location and use this pram on my daily walks where the terrain includes grass, gravel, sand and bitumen. I have found this pram to be ideal for this due to the wheel type it has. It is a big and bulky fold and takes up a lot of boot space, so may not be the ideal pram for someone who needed to transport it often. But for my… Read more
needs, it's fantastic and a pleasure to use. Wheel type, comfortable to push, great on off-road terrain. Big and bulky fold, takes up a lot of boot space, quite heavy to lift.
Big Bulky and Heavy, not to mention wobbly wheels – I bought this pram online when I was 20 weeks pregnant not realizing how big and heavy it was! I can barely lift the thing in and out of the boot of the car and it hardly fits in there either, I have to have it lying on its side (my boot space isn't that small I have a Mitsubishi ASX). This is definitely not the type of pram to lug in and out of… Read more
the car. I also bought this pram thinking I could use it for running considering the big tyres on it, but nope! the wheels are shockingly wobbly even when fast paced walking. It is great though for regular walks down to the shops. Large hood, large basket, cozy shoulder straps very very heavy, wobbly wheels

Good everyday pram – I've been using my pram for the past 4 months almost every day and I think for the price it is a great pram. I love the fact I can clip the safe & sound baby capsule straight into the pram without having to purchase extra adaptor arms like other prams, this has made transferring my baby boy from the car to the pram easy and he stays asleep most… Read more
of the time!
The sun canopy is a good size without being too bulky when its not open and the basket is big with easy access even when the pram is fully reclined. I liked that the foot muff and rain cover were included in the price. The back pocket near the handle is handy for my keys and phone while out walking. The handle is adjustable with good heights for both me (5ft 5) and my husband (6ft 4) to feel comfortable. The wheel base isn't too wide, you can still fit through normal size doorways and checkouts. It's also very easy to fold.
I do get wheel wobbles when I walk at a fast pace, but they only last a few seconds. The seat doesn't change directions so I can't see my baby while we're out for walks (apart from through the viewing window) but he sleeps most mornings when we are walking so that's not a problem. Safe n sound baby capsule fits perfectly, big sun canopy and large easy access basket. Wheel wobbles at a fast walking pace.
Positives and negatives – I bought this pram as I trust the steelcraft brand. This pram has so far serviced my 7&1/2 mth old son. I found that the safe-n-sound capsule actually slots into the pram when laying flat. I found that the safe-n-sound capsule actually slots into the pram when laying flat. laying flat. Can travel over all terrain-perfect.
The reline positions are great and easy to use especially when bub asleep.large canopy is perfect for sun protection. Undrneath basket is great and can be acvessed when reclined flat. It is heavier than others but that wasn't a concern for me. Biggest gripe is that in the upright position which my son now sits mostly is there is no support for his back. Unless the straps are super tight he slumps when tired etc. He is only supported by the strap between his legs and sometimes cuts into his leg. Great large canopy & basket. Goes over any terrain. Tyres need pumping up, no back support.
i love it so far! – I bought this pram online as I wasn't happy with the way my Agile stroller performed on my daily walks. So far I love this pram. Seems sturdy and not too bulky. I love the big wheels and the easy to recline backrest. Not as plastic as some prams have become. A little big and heavy when folded, but I am used to the Agile. So comfy and snug for my… Read more · 1
14 month old son (who is really big for his age) I wouldn't hesitate to put a newborn in it either. For some reason the back wheels wobble a little when moving but in no way would this be dangerous because there is no way the can come off with out unclipping them. This is my second 3 wheel pram (first was a love n care 5 yrs ago = junk) and I am very very happy with it. I was very unsure about buying this one because it didn't have any reviews written yet but with the Britax warranty I am not too worried. Sturdiness. Comfy. Not too wide. Easy to recline. Easy to fold. The color. And the wheels. Back wheels wobble a little (not at all a problem!) The pump up tyres (just pain to have to check)
