Stokke Flexi Bath

Awful. Whoever designed it has never bathed a child – For the love of god do yourself a favour and please don’t buy this bath. I don’t know who’s been giving it 5 stars, but whoever designed it has clearly never looked after a child or used a bath in their life. We bought it because we figured it’s Stokke, it must be good. We couldn’t have been more wrong. The biggest issues are 1) you need two… Read more
hands to get the plug in, which is virtually impossible to do while holding a baby unless you’re happy to risk dropping them headfirst on to the bathroom tiles; and 2) if the plug gets taken out midway through the bath, which often happens when you have an inquisitive toddler in the bath, it’s not possible to get the plug back in - unless you can lift a flexible plastic bathtub off the ground holding the weight of 30L of water and a toddler. 3) it barely fits a 2 year old despite them quoting up to 4 years
Please don’t buy this - use anything else. A sink, a bucket, or even just a garden house outside would be better.
Save my space! – I am living in an appartment so I really love this Stokke Flexi Bath, it saves us so much space! When we're not using it, we just hide it behind our laundry basket. I also love the temperature sensor part so if the water is too hot, it will turn red which is handy! Show details
Travelling Bath – We have 3 children and this bath has travelled the world with us. The Flexi bath easily flat packed into our suitcase to ensure our 2month old baby had a bath each night while travelling through Europe and Asia. The Flexi bath continued its travelling life around Australia in our kombi. With limited space this bath folded away easily and became the best camp fire spa for our children. It is my most loved and used baby item. Show details
Great size and very handy for apartment with no bath but – Great size and very handy for apartment with no bath, so can't fault it's purpose but no matter how often I clean or dry it, the mould is crazy. On the bottom silicone, and now on the inside silicone in small spots on the inside of the bath. I have managed to get these spots off from the inside of the bath but the outside, bottom just keeps accumulating and it just won't come off. Will need to throw it away very soon. Show details
Still going strong – I received this bath as a hand me down from my sister in law who used the bath with my now 6 year old nephew. Even after so many years in storage the bath is still going strong and in perfect condition. It’s generous size means I’m still bathing my 8 month son in this bath and the handy fold up feature makes it easy to store away. I’ve even used it as a kiddy pool outside!
Expensive and doesn't last – We purchased this for our first child, used it for about 4 months and then stored it. (It was used as per the recommendations). I favoured this one despite the significant price against traditional baths as it folded, I thought it would be great for putting in storage for second child. It was brought back out for our second child, and we found… Read more
that the silicone has split in places, particularly in the folds. It didn't last two children! (Only has a one year warranty- how fitting- fewer have 2 kids within a year!)
After care service... very poor! it folds nicely away when not using it Expensive. Didn't last. Poor warranty. Poor customer service
