Let me start off by saying the staff (mostly family members) were fine to deal with. It wasn’t till someone stood up with QA (quality assurance) issues did their attitudes start changing. This is not about personalities, however it’s the product that is. “We purchased their high end Cypress post and rails as we didn’t want splitting” it came highly recommended by its owners. FYI - was approx 25% more expensive but wasn’t worth it.

I’ve lived in rural areas most of my life (lets say 60+ years), seen, made and installed many fences as one can imagine and its sad this company has resorted in suppling customers (3 including myself) poor quality timber they supply. Within 6 months of installing their expensive Post & Rail Fence it starting splitting, yes its timber ‘but’ 50% of the posts split with some gaps being 20mm, even their rails started twisting which didn’t help either! After expressing my disappointment they begrudgingly agreed to replace some of the worse split posts and some rails and ‘surprise surprise’ those new posts have started splitting after 2 months.

I did my research prior, saw some of their work and was happy to the extent but was advised if we didn’t want splitting upgrade the timber, well that didn’t work!

I have compared with local farms fences since, most have been installed over 5 years and 95% haven’t split or rails twisted!

If you’re going to spend 20k plus, do not use Strukta is my suggestion. As an ex auditor what is failing this company is poor quality material!
