Sunbeam Alinea Select 2 Slice TA2820W (White)

Perfect toast every time and it cost nothing! – We had a Sunbeam kettle and the handle fell off. It was just over two years old and I wrote a scathing review on ProductReview.com.au. This review was read by the people at Sunbeam who after a bit of negotiation they decided to honour the warranty. As I had already purchased a new kettle, they offered me other products and we chose the Sunbeam Alinea Select 2 Slice TA2820W (White). We could have chosen the four slice but two slice meets our needs. This toaster has a list price of $149 which in my opinion it top of the range for such a humble kitchen appliance. What I like about it: Once you have your settings correct you never have to change them. Supplies beautifully cooked toast just the way we like it. Great variety of settings including gluten free. Other settings depend on what type of bread you are toasting; white/grain/rye/sough dough/crumpet or fruit. What I don't like: It is not a cool touch toaster and it takes a while to cool down. Overall, worthy of a five star review.

Really good toaster but – I’m enjoying my new toaster but have to say that the User Guide that accompanies it could be improved by including some detailed operating instructions. I’ve discovered how it operates mostly by trial and error.
