My husband bought this blender which broke 6 months out of the 1 year warranty, after I had ordered a replacement glass jug at some expense. The retailer was no help, stating it was not worth getting repaired , ‘just buy a new blender’. Won’t buy another Sunbeam product. Sunbeam very sorry otherwise of no help at all! Show details

not working – The spinning plastic coupling on the base unit wont spin as the plastic has worn which means the blade isnt locked in anymore, we only use this once or twice a month so not impressed Show details

Please do not buy. Yes it's a great blender, but Sunbeam is stopping support. I purchased from Good Guys Taylors Lakes Dec 2024. In July 2025, no longer can get the jug seal. Sunbeam have stopped supporting. GG still selling new items for $99. Please do not buy. Show details

I'm happy – I've only had this machine for a couple of days, long enough to test it, but I cannot attest to its longevity - fingers crossed. I bought it at The Good Guys and they did a price match at $94.00. People complain that it's noisy. All blenders are noisy. The Sunbeam is a little louder than my old George Foreman Mix & Go Pro, but it is nowhere… Read more ·  4

near as loud as my Nutri Ninja Pro. I have to wear hearing protection to use the Ninja.

I really only use the blenders to turn lemons into juice and to make smoothies. The Sunbeam does that job very well. I don't need it to make dinner for me, so this machine does what I need it to do without paying six times the price for more bells and whistles. It even liquefies whole (cut into quarters but skin on) lemons better than the 900w Ninja machine. Both the Sunbeam and the Ninja beat the old Mix & Go Pro hands down. I guess blade design beats horsepower in these machines.

The self-cleaning thing is just marketing. I have always used the exact same technique to clean all the other blenders I have ever owned.

So, in the absence of the answer to "will it last?", I give this machine a 5/5. I'll be even happier when the 'new smell' of the motor goes away.

DO NOT BUY! – This machine should not be sold! The plastic drive gear that drives the blades breaks off and renders the machine useless. Bad design and poor quality material. Also very noisy. 1st machine failed in the warranty period at 11 months. 2nd machine didn't make 2 years. Both machines had very little use - be lucky to have used it once a month for… Read more

smoothies. After some research and reading many different reviews, it appears that this is a common problem. Sunbeams response for assistance was " our warranty policy is designed to provide a reasonable amount of protection for a limited period of time and is based on industry standards. Your unit is only covered with one-year limited warranty." Sunbeam should stop selling a product with a known fault! If one person reads this and spends their money on a better appliance, I have done my job.

Good blender – I am satisfied with the blending ability but the auto clean function doesn’t work properly. Otherwise overall happy with the product. It blends properly and it breaks ice really well. Show details

Great blender but very short life – The blender works really well and I like the glass jug and the automatic pulse setting. However, the plastic motor blade is made out of hard but very brittle plastic. This one lasted less than three months and I use it two to three times per week blending mostly banana and berries without ice using the pulse setting. I rang a couple of places… Read more

they recommend in their website but I couldn’t find anyone that sells this part. Let me know sunbeam where I can buy this part and maybe I can still use the blender to blend water with water.

Sunbeam dissappoints – Purchased this blender less than 12 months ago and from the very first use it omitted a bad, motor smell when on use. Faulty from the start. I went to make a smoothie today only to find that the base gear had fallen off and can’t be repaired. Extremely disappointed in such a poor quality product, Sunbeam used to be produce a range of good… Read more

quality, reliable electrical products but that’s no longer the case. Waste of money, paid $129 for this appliance and expected greater reliability and at least a few years of use. Will not purchase Sunbeam again, plastic components are very poor quality, rubbish. Don’t waste your money on this product. ☹️

Good, but nothing exceptional – We bought one of these things brand new. We used it once for cooking. We tried to blend egg yolks with it on our first attempt. Egg ran everywhere and made one hell of a mess. Cleaned it up and tried another time to blend something. Did the same thing. Poured out from underneath it. The shop we bought it from dont want to know about it because it… Read more

was floor stock and they said no warranty. Great. Anyway, discovered some dill removed the rubber seal. Once we purchased a new seal it works fine.

Throwing money away – Bought at Big W Bowral. Made one smoothie. The gears are made of plastic and they were worn out by this one task. Sunbeam has to be kidding. This blender wouldn't pass quality control anywhere. When we looked at the receipt the ink had completely faded away. This has to be the biggest con in town. Show details

Extreme waste of 100 dollars – Blends fine and all that, but after just two uses, not even used to crush anything so two light uses, it just stopped working. Doesn’t even turn on. Such a waste of 100 dollars which is hard to come by for a guy like me. If cash is tight DO NOT BUY. Show details

Takes the schlepp out of cleaning – My first trial was to blend frozen fruit and ice for a smoothie, and used the automatic function. The result was perfectly smooth, and would probably control it manually next time from a timing perspective. Great that you have that option and can get as thick or as liquid as you like. Loved the cleaning function, as have always found that bit awkward. Really, the product delivers exactly what it says it will, and am really pleased with it. Show details ·  1

In love with the autoclean function! – The blender is easy to use with it's 4 preprogrammed functions and autoclean! When I make my smoothie in the morning I don't have to think. Excited to use it for blending my soups in winter and crushing ice for margaritas before summer ends. Show details ·  1

Sturdy, superfunctional blender - good choice for families – This is a stable and robust blender, great for busy families. The jug pops on to the blender base really easily (there's no twisting which reduces the risk of leaks) and the range of function-specific touch buttons takes the effort out of getting a good result. We use our blender for smoothies (usually with whole or halved frozen banana which the… Read more ·  1

blender processes without any problems), protein shakes and iced coffees (the ice crusher function blitzes ice super fast). The auto clean function means there's no need to put the jug in the dishwasher and it's always ready to go. Have only had the blender a couple of weeks but am very happy with it thus far.

The Best Blender – We are onto the smoothie game this summer and this blender is keeping us very healthy. The smoothies are light and delicious. I have also made silky dips and a few icy drinks to cool us down. I couldn't be more happy with the performance and the easy clean is a welcome bonus. Show reply

Not recommend – I just bought it yesterday and tried to make some sesame paste. It doesn’t blend or mix well. It is very very noisy and strong motor smell. I do not recommend this product. I really want to ask for a refund. Not happy with it! my previous $39 Kmart blender can do better. Show details
