used any metal utensils but still, the coating started to come off. On calling Sunbeam, they offered to replace the basket of which I don’t see the point. I don’t really think this would be a one time thing so I will be returning to Target, where I purchased it, in October 2022. Other than that, it did a good job, and I enjoyed using it. Easy enough to clean, easy to use. It took forever to get rid of the ‘new appliance smell’, but I guess that happens with a lot of these things. Apart from the faulty basket, I suppose it’s good value for money. For these reasons, giving it three stars because I know there are people out there who are not as fussy as I am about flaking coatings, and the willingness of Sunbeam to replace the basket deserves a bit of credit. On a side note: I think a square or rectangular basket is more economical than a round one.
