A fabulous product – This kettle, was a really great buy. It was quite cheap, but it has proved to be an extremely useful and reliable appliance in my kitchen. The best feature about this kettle is that the jug sits in a seperate cradle where the cord is attached. This means that you can carry it around anywhere without having to unplug it, which is very helpful. Inexpensive, good waranty, mobile unattractive

Good – a good budget kettle. Holds plenty of water. Boils reasonably quickly. I love the cordless feature. A good price. The white does discolour. I love that the top opens fully so I can clean inside it. Very happy and have bought a second one for my workplace a really good price. I like the water indicator on the side. Love that it is cordless The… Read more

white discolours really badly. After a while it does seem to not sit on the charger too well - it sometimes needs to be reshuffled to make true contact - but at the price it is I am happy to replace it if it is out of warranty

Good – While the kettle can be a bit noisy it is not as noisy as other kettles I have owned. A simple, basic designed kettle that does not cost a lot but does the job well. These kettles will last a while too. Boils pretty fast. Holds a good amount of water being a 1.8 litre size. Is easy to see the water level on the side. Fits into any kitchen being a… Read more

neutral colour. Sometimes the water does not come out as hot as I would like. It can get a bit grimey inside but regular cleaning will fix that.

Terrible – I had been continually disappointed by Sunbeam products over the years. Irons, water filters and now kettles all crap. Wouldn't buy another Sunbeam anything. Did the job. Boiled water. Didn't last. One day started burning smell and boiling itself. Lucky we were home or wouldn't have had home to come home to.

Does the job fine – It is not very fancy, not expensive kettle, but the it does the job. The kettle is fast to boil water, and is big as well. Had it for years but still works great. I'm a bit worried about the material though as plastic is not really healthy for kids long lasting, cheap plastic

Great cheap kettle – We've been using this kettle for around five years now, and it's great value for money. Its a bit difficult to clean all the little crannies, but I've yet to find an electric kettle that was. I wouldn't recommend it for a single person, but for a family who tend to drink tea or coffee together, it's good. Reliable, inexpensive, still going strong after five years. Not sure how energy efficient it is.

After 15 Years still going – Not bad at all for a $39 15 year kettle made in N.Z. Reliable, sturdy, quiet and solid. Out done 2 other kettles of recent. Lasting 2 years only !! Namely a Tefal and other. Best buy ever Bit plain looking

Terrible – Never will buy this type of kettle again. Paid around $60-$70 for it. Not worth a penny. Got a Morphy Richards glass kettle now, which turns brilliant blue when switched on. Still got another, cheaper Sunbeam with exposed element which works o.k. Very fast boiling when it finally wishes to switch on! Fantastic fast boiler in Summer, but won't… Read more

switch on before lunch in Winter. Conclusion: this is a warmer months only kettle.

When I press the switch, it flicks out. Only solution to boil water on a cold morning is: put a toothpick into the switch so that it is impossible to switch off.

Brought it back to the store after a few weeks of 'hassle' with this kettle, only to find out that the second one was none the better.

This is now a SUMMER KETTLE only!

Plastic turns yellow very badly.

Excellent – Price and reliablity make this kettle unbelievably good value for money. Although lack's in the style department, but when it is just a kettle right? Unbeatable tough and reliable. Ugly.

Excellent – Reliability at its best this kettle has lasted us since we have bought our house and is still going strong in a house where everyone loves a cuppa i would have predicted we would have been onto a replacement by now but this is definately standing the test of time. Easy to fill and simply plug and boil too easy. Easy to read water gauge indicates… Read more

various measurements which is handy. Good quick simple kettle for boiling a cup or two or a full jug quickly. Nothing to complain about with the Sunbeam Express Kettle we are very happy with it.

Excellent – The family has been using this kettle for about 2 years and it's fantastic. I can't really fault it. It boils water fast, it's quiet, it's easy to fill, the water indicator isn't hidden anywhere, it's just awesome! Fast boil time, relatively quiet, good water indicator,

Excellent – We have used ours constantly for over two years and it has been great. It is light, cordless and has so far not given us any problems. Is a compact design so doesn't take up a lot of room - especially because excess cord wraps into the base. Easy to see the water level and easy to fill. Cup capacity written on the side near water level so can fill… Read more

it just enough for one or two cups - saves power and time. Large capacity despite it's compact size. Very quick to boil. A bit noisy, but so are most kettles!
