I loved my little Oscar – I had mine for several years and it was perfect for me - did everything i wanted. I accidentally blew up up when trying to mix a very heavy date dough and didn't pulse like I should have - was just too much for the motor. I would buy it again if I could.

Purchased at Target Australia for $99.

Terrible blades that don't cut and loose cup – Since the first use it has never sliced food properly. Any kind of food that needs an accurate sharp blade it didn't do the job: e.g. when I put onions or tomatoes in it, they turns into onions or tomatoes juice instead of sliced one and my salad is completely ruined. Shredding and grating discs work well. After a few uses the cup become loose and then it only works if I keep pressing the cup down.

I'm disappointed. The size and built-in storage drawer for blades.

Not recommended – I first bought one of these to replace an earlier model that lasted 10 years and served me well. Unfortunately, this model is no match for the original. After 10 months the motor just stopped working and thinking I had somehow contributed to it's demise, I purchased a second one. To my surprise, this one has now stopped working also after much the same length of time. A call to their service centre was in vain as without a receipt they were not prepared to help me. I know, I know they are not legally bound, but hey, I have bought 2 and they have both died on me. Shame on you Sunbeam, I expected better! Size, function, price Motor faulty in both machines with less than a years use. Very poor customer service.

Not that bad – I don't use this as frequently as others and this appears to be the key. It doesn't over heat when I've used it. I've used it to grate and chop vegetables and I've used it to mince raw prawns and raw chicken. It wasn't too bad. The only reason I stopped using it was because I accidentally dropped it and shattered the bowl. The size is good for what I needed.

Terrible – Will never buy another it is not reliable and very dangerous!!! Should have had a product recall as the first 2 were known to have a faulty part. I was assured this was from a different batch. Looks good I am on my third unit which as with the previous 2 has just blown up again. Tripped the switch and burnt the bench top. I was only making chilli sauce!!! Only used 3 times
