Where is the PLASTIC that fell off the food processor shaft – Sunbeam actually gave me this machine 5 years ago after I complained about another one of their products on this site. To be honest, I've hardly used it and their (in all fairness, very professional) customer service team gave it to me. In 5 years, I would probably have used it 5 times. Including today when I noticed it wasn't working very well.… Read more

As I tipped the contents into my Vitamix, I noticed that the plastic from the shaft of the food processor was broken away. Probably not the crunch you are looking for with your Beetroot Dip. Attached are photos and the response I got from Sunbeam when I attempted to send a private message to resolve.

fantastic support from Sunbeam – I have had my StickMaster (sounds funny writing it like that - something out of Harry Potter lol) for .....actually not really sure, I would have to look it up but its not important, there was a fault. Maybe design maybe from use not sure but I rang the customer service centre and told them that the lid of the processing bowl had some sort of… Read more

liquid in it and that I couldnt remove it. The CSO told me that I was right in not using it and then sent me a replacement lid even though it was out of warranty. I was extremely impressed and relieved because its a really great machine for small jobs in the kitchen and I certainly didnt want to go hunting for another version of it. In-fact, I had a similar experience with the rubber seals on our big Kenwood multi-everything-processor (multi pro excel) which has so many functions that i dont think i will ever use them all but perhaps sometime i will review that one too. right now I am off to review my Sony Bravia tv trauma.

Didn't last – Initially I thought it was a very good blender. Just after a year I need to replace the stainless steel shaft. Cost me around $50.Eight months later the motor blew up and I can't just buy another motor. I have to buy the whole unit. No thanks. I bought another brand. Anyone want a spare bowl or the other accessories, please contact me.

Used once – Stopped working 30 seconds into its first use. Would not purchase this particular model again. Store was happy to refund. Was impressed with all the attachments. Hopefully it was just a one off issue. Great attachments Blew up the first time it was used

Waste of money – I got his blender as a christmas present and have only had it for 3 months. It was great until I tried to process a simple soft mixture and the motor blew up. I do not recommend you buy this product as it could not accomplish the easiest of tasks and blew up.

Mine gave up the ghost after 2 months but until then I thought it was brilliant

Many design flaws – Unfortunately the design of this product has left me irritated on many occasions. The lid fills with water internally when I put it in the dishwasher then drips rusty water into the food I'm blending later. I think it should be a sealed unit, but its not. The food pusher stops a whole centimetre above the grater attachment, which means that it… Read more

fails to grate alot of the food. I end up using a conventional grater to finish off all the bits that it won't grate. The food pusher is cumbersome - it comes in two loose parts that you have to hold together whilst trying to push down the food, whilst pressing the 'on' button on the Stick at the same time. The bowl has a very deep lip on the base, so when placed upside down in the dishwasher fills with alot of water - simple drainage holes would improve this design flaw. And whilst it is a very powerful engine, it is REALLY noisy. I had a smaller stick blender before this, and I thought this would replace that, and give me added functionality, but it does not do small amounts (eg nuts, herbs) well, because the bowl is big, so I'm going to have to get a smaller one.

I will probably be able to exchange it to get a lid that does not retain water, but more than likely they will give me a new one in return - and I don't want another one! Powerful engine. Too many design flaws.

Unbelievable Blender !! – This blender is the one used on masterchef, and I know why! It is amazing. Will blend easily soft things like baby food to any consistency. Has two speed. A number of great attachments super easy to use, including electric whip. The stick blender alone is perfect for homemade soups or anything in a big pot. The small plastic attachment with… Read more ·  2

blade is perfect for nuts or fresh herbs or anything that is only a few cups worth. Cleaning is super easy, no big appliance to wash. Blades are super strength as is its power. If you cook a lot, you really get your monies worth with this blender. Will blend anything!! Simple no fuss, no mess cleaning. Very powerful.

Awesome! Not sure how I coped without this – Wow! Love this appliance. Having not had a food processor until we got this machine, I am blown away. We had a old stick blender, and even the stick blender alone on this appliance is fantastic, not to mention all of the other attachments. Very powerful. The food processor is great. The whisk is super handy and the vegetable chopper, bonus! It is… Read more ·  1

easy to use, pretty easy to clean. Love that there's speed settings on the handle, and the stand that it comes in means its easy to pack away and can be kept neat and tidy in the cupboard. We use this every couple of days for one thing or another. Not sure how we got by without it now. Everything. Big & powerful enough to do all the chopping, processing and blending we need, but compact enough to pack away in a corner cupboard. nothing yet.
