Suzuki Intruder vs800 GL

Got this Suzuki Intruder vs 800 gl model 2004 in Feb 2012. Great bike. Very very Fast. On reviews this bike gets 11 to 14 sec on the quoter mile.
I have pushed my bike to 130 mpH. Normal crushing speed between 70 and 80 mph.
Way faster then the H D softail 1200 I replaced.
It feels rough ride but after 2 hours still not as lame on behind as experience on other bikes.
I enjoy this Suzuki Vs 800. Very special bike.
If you can get one go for it you will always be great full you got one.
These bike are not easy to find as owners will not sell them,to reliable. This is proof of a good bike. Fuel consumption about 100 miles to 12 L tank.
My one has over 80 000 miles and still go as bran new. This intesting style cruiser still get many heads turned as its clearly the atractive cruiser from that time and even today in Jun 2017.
Pasenger or Pilion feels comfortable and have great view as sitting higher then rider. Easy to control. Keep in good working order servise every 10000 miles and a clean cared for bike is always very atractive to all.
Enjoy your choice when choosing the great reliable Suzuki Intruder Vs 800 GL. This very quick bike, production stopped in 2004 . It was replaced with Boulevard. Pitty Suzuki stopped production, however this is of great advantage to all Vs800 owners as this bike now become very rare and the value increase. In 2017 one may get frm $ 8k to over $ 11k for this iconik specially fast bike.
Test your speed from start to 60 mph / 100 kmh.
You may get what we tested just on 3 sec.
On 1/4 mile we tested 11.2 sec
June 2017. Frm happy rider.
2 wheels move the sole, 4 wheels move the body.

Suzuki Intruder 1500

Bought a 2001 model in 2002.
Looked the looks. All black & chrome. Got it brand new for a steal. Changed the pipes, removed the pillion seat replacing it with a curved chrome luggage rank (from Yamaha) & installed a chrome fender on front mudguard & also installed chrome engine guards.
Not much power for 1500cc
Handling was atrocious
Braking was totally inadequate. Only had one disc up front
Paintwork thin & not lustrous
Fuel capacity average
Good looking
Great sound - replaced exhausts with Formula One mufflers
Inexpensive to buy & run
Good fuel mileage
Sold it with less than 10000km on clock & bought an XHR1300. Have done a review on that too. The main reason for selling it was the lack of braking power.
